     Hon. Henry Thomas Stanley was born on 9 March 1803 at Knowsley, Lancashire, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Edward Smith-Stanley, 13th Earl of Derby and Charlotte Margaret Hornby.¹ He married Anne Woolhouse, daughter of Richard Woolhouse, on 1 September 1835.¹ He died on 2 April 1875 at age 72.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Preston between 1832 and 1837.¹

     Anne Woolhouse is the daughter of Richard Woolhouse.¹ She married Hon. Henry Thomas Stanley, son of Edward Smith-Stanley, 13th Earl of Derby and Charlotte Margaret Hornby, on 1 September 1835.¹
     Her married name became Stanley.

     Colonel Hon. Charles James Fox Stanley was born on 25 April 1808 at Grosvenor Square, Westminster, London, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of Edward Smith-Stanley, 13th Earl of Derby and Charlotte Margaret Hornby.² He married Frances Augusta Campbell, daughter of General Sir Henry Frederick Campbell and Emma Williams, on 10 December 1836.¹ He died on 13 October 1884 at age 76.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Battalion, Lancashire Militia.²

     Frances Augusta Campbell was the daughter of General Sir Henry Frederick Campbell and Emma Williams.² She married Colonel Hon. Charles James Fox Stanley, son of Edward Smith-Stanley, 13th Earl of Derby and Charlotte Margaret Hornby, on 10 December 1836.¹ She died on 29 May 1878.²
     Her married name became Stanley.

     Frances Hay was born in 1775.² She was the daughter of Major William Hay and Lady Catherine Hay.^1,3 She married Hon. Charles Tollemache, son of John Manners and Louisa Tollemache, Countess of Dysart, on 4 August 1797 at St. George’s, Hanover Square, London, England.^1,4 She died on 29 March 1801.¹ She was buried on 10 April 1801 at Helmingham, Suffolk, England.²
     Her married name became Tollemache.

     Lady Mary Catherine Sackville-West was born on 23 July 1824.² She was the daughter of George John Sackville-West, 5th Earl De La Warr and Elizabeth Sackville-West, Baroness Buckhurst of Buckhurst.¹ She married, firstly, James Brownlow William Gascoyne-Cecil, 2nd Marquess of Salisbury, son of James Cecil, 1st Marquess of Salisbury and Lady Emily Mary Hill, on 29 April 1847.¹ She married, secondly, Edward Henry Stanley, 15th Earl of Derby, son of Edward Geoffrey Smith-Stanley, 14th Earl of Derby and Hon. Emma Caroline Bootle-Wilbraham, on 5 July 1870.^1,2 She died on 6 December 1900 at age 76.¹
     After her marriage, Lady Mary Catherine Sackville-West was styled as Marchioness of Salisbury on 29 April 1847. From 29 April 1847, her married name became Gascoyne-Cecil.¹ From 5 July 1870, her married name became Stanley. After her marriage, Lady Mary Catherine Sackville-West was styled as Countess of Derby on 5 July 1870.

     James Brownlow William Gascoyne-Cecil, 2nd Marquess of Salisbury was born on 17 April 1791 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.^2,3 He was the son of James Cecil, 1st Marquess of Salisbury and Lady Emily Mary Hill.² He married, firstly, Frances Mary Gascoyne, daughter of Bamber Gascoyne and Sarah Bridget Frances Price, on 2 February 1821.² He married, secondly, Lady Mary Catherine Sackville-West, daughter of George John Sackville-West, 5th Earl De La Warr and Elizabeth Sackville-West, Baroness Buckhurst of Buckhurst, on 29 April 1847.⁴ He died on 12 April 1868 at age 76 at Hatfield House, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England.^2,3
     He was given the name of James Brownlow William Cecil at birth.² He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Colonel in 1813 in the Hertfordshire Militia.² He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1813 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)      George John Sackville-West, 5th Earl De La Warr was born on 26 October 1791.¹ He was the son of John Richard West, 4th Earl De La Warr and Catherine Lyell.¹ He married Elizabeth Sackville-West, Baroness Buckhurst of Buckhurst, daughter of John Frederick Sackville, 3rd Duke of Dorset and Arabella Diana Cope, on 21 June 1813 at Knole, Kent, England^G.² He died on 23 February 1869 at age 77.²

     George William Villiers, 4th Earl of Clarendon was born on 26 January 1800.¹ He was the son of Hon. George Villiers and Hon. Theresa Parker.² He married Lady Katherine Grimston, daughter of James Walter Grimston, 1st Earl of Verulam and Lady Charlotte Jenkinson, on 4 June 1839 at Gorhambury, Hertfordshire, England^G.³ He died on 27 June 1870 at age 70 at 1 Grosvenor Crescent, London, England^G.³ He was buried on 2 July 1870 at Watford, Hertfordshire, England^G.⁴ His will was proven (by probate) on 3 August 1870, at under £250,000.⁴

     Annie Bickerton Pooley was the daughter of Hon. Charles Edward Pooley.¹ She married Admiral Hon. Sir Victor Albert Stanley, son of Frederick Arthur Stanley, 16th Earl of Derby and Lady Constance Villiers, on 25 November 1896.¹ She died on 14 April 1962.¹
     Her married name became Stanley.
