     Lt.-Col. Joseph D’Arcy married Lady Catherine Georgiana West, daughter of John Richard West, 4th Earl De La Warr and Catherine Lyell, on 16 October 1817.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Mortimer Sackville-West, 1st Baron Sackville of Knole was born on 22 September 1820.² He is the son of George John Sackville-West, 5th Earl De La Warr and Elizabeth Sackville-West, Baroness Buckhurst of Buckhurst.¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Faber, daughter of Charles Wilson Faber and Mary Beckett-Denison, on 12 June 1873.² He married, firstly, Fanny Charlotte Dickson, daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Dickson, on 14 January 1847.² He died on 1 October 1888 at age 68.²
     He was given the name of Mortimer West at birth.² In 1873 he unsuccessfully claimed the Barony of Buckhurst of Buckhurst created for his mother when his elder brother, who had succeeded their mother as 2nd Baron Buckhurst of Buckhurst, inherited the Earldom of De La Warr.² The special ‘jumping’ remainder in the patent of creation was ajudged invalid but a like clause in the deed governing the inheritance of the Knole and other Sackville estates was ruled sound and he inherited them accordingly.² He was created 1st Baron Sackville of Knole, co. Kent [U.K.] on 2 October 1876, with special remainder to his brothers.²

     Hon. William Edward Sackville-West was born on 27 October 1830.² He was the son of George John Sackville-West, 5th Earl De La Warr and Elizabeth Sackville-West, Baroness Buckhurst of Buckhurst.¹ He married Georgina Dodwell, daughter of George Dodwell, on 7 August 1860.² He died on 30 September 1905 at age 74.²
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.¹

     Georgina Dodwell was the daughter of George Dodwell.¹ She married Hon. William Edward Sackville-West, son of George John Sackville-West, 5th Earl De La Warr and Elizabeth Sackville-West, Baroness Buckhurst of Buckhurst, on 7 August 1860.² She died on 23 February 1883.²
     From 7 August 1860, her married name became Sackville-West.¹

     George Dodwell lived at Kevinsfort, County Sligo, Ireland^G.¹

     Reverend Paul Williams Wyatt married Hon. Constance Mary Elizabeth Cochrane-Wishart-Baillie, daughter of Alexander Dundas Ross Cochrane-Wishart-Baillie, 1st Baron Lamington and Annabella Mary Elizabeth Drummond, on 12 July 1902.¹ He died on 29 December 1935.¹
     He graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Dorothy Heseltine was the daughter of John Postle Heseltine.¹ She married, firstly, Lionel Charles Cranfield Sackville, Viscount Cantelupe, son of Reginald Windsor Sackville, 7th Earl De La Warr and Hon. Constance Mary Elizabeth Cochrane-Wishart-Baillie, on 24 June 1890.¹ She married, secondly, General George Darell Jeffreys, 1st Baron Jeffreys, son of Rt. Hon. Arthur Frederick Jeffreys and Amy Constantia Fenwick, on 28 February 1905.¹ She died on 21 May 1953.¹
     From 24 June 1890, her married name became Sackville.¹ From 28 February 1905, her married name became Jeffreys.¹ She was Chief Commandant in the Auxiliary Territorial Service between 1938 and 1941.¹ After her marriage, Dorothy Heseltine was styled as Baroness Jeffreys on 12 July 1952.

     John Postle Heseltine lived at Walhampton, Lymington, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Lady Leonore Mary Sackville was the daughter of Reginald Windsor Sackville, 7th Earl De La Warr and Hon. Constance Mary Elizabeth Cochrane-Wishart-Baillie.¹ She married Major John McClean Griffin, son of Robert Griffin, on 10 July 1906.¹ She died on 18 July 1939.¹
     From 10 July 1906, her married name became Griffin.¹

     Major John McClean Griffin was the son of Robert Griffin.¹ He married Lady Leonore Mary Sackville, daughter of Reginald Windsor Sackville, 7th Earl De La Warr and Hon. Constance Mary Elizabeth Cochrane-Wishart-Baillie, on 10 July 1906.¹ He died on 8 January 1957.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery.¹
