Sir Alexander Bannerman of Elsick, 3rd Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bannerman, of Elsick, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1682] in February 1742.1 He acquired the estate of Horsley, Yorkshire through his wife.1 He fought in the Battle of Culloden on 16 April 1746, after which he fled to France.1

Sir Alexander Bannerman of Elsick, 4th Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Bannerman, of Elsick, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1682] in 1747.1 In 1756 he sold the estate of Elsick to the Corporation of Aberdeen, as a result of the threat of forfeiture for possible complicity in the Jacobite rebellion.1

He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Bannerman, of Elsick, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1682] on 13 June 1770.1 He gained the rank of Major in 1778 in the 36th Regiment of Foot.1

Sir Patrick Bannerman1 
He was imprisoned by the Hanoverian authorities, but escaped to France.2 He was appointed Knight by the Old Pretender.2 He held the office of Jacobite Provost of Aberdeen in 1715.1
