     Katherine Maitland was born circa 1695.2 She was the daughter of Sir Charles Maitland of Pitrichie, 3rd Bt. and Jean Forbes.1,3 She married Theodore Morison, 3rd of Bognie, son of George Morison, 2nd of Bognie and Christian Urquhart, on 14 April 1717 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1,2 She died in 1743.1
     From 14 April 1717, her married name became Morison.1
