Kincardine [N.S., 1682] on 10 March 1934.1 He held the office of Extra Gentleman Usher in 1936, to King Edward VIII.1 He held the office of Extra Gentleman Usher between 1937 and 1952, to King George VI.1 He held the office of Extra Gentleman Usher between 1952 and 1955, to Queen Elizabeth II.1
