     Sir David Gordon Bannerman of Elsick, 15th Bt. was born on 18 August 1935.¹ He is the son of Sir Donald Arthur Gordon Bannerman of Elsick, 13th Bt. and Barbara Charlotte Cameron.² He married Prudence Mary Ardagh-Walter, daughter of Reverend Philip Frank Ardagh-Walter, on 25 June 1960.¹
     He was educated at Gordonstoun School, Elgin, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1954 in the Queen’s Own Cameroon Highlanders.¹ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1959 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was Overseas Civil Service in Tanzania between 1960 and 1963.¹ He was in the Ministry of Defence between 1963 and 1997.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1976.¹ He succeeded as the 15th Baronet Bannerman, of Elsick, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1682] on 21 November 1989.¹ He graduated from University College London, London, England^G, in 1999 with a Master of Science (M.Sc.)¹ He lived in 2003 at 3 St. George’s Road, St. Margaret’s, Twickenham, London, England^G.¹

     Prudence Mary Ardagh-Walter is the daughter of Reverend Philip Frank Ardagh-Walter.¹ She married Sir David Gordon Bannerman of Elsick, 15th Bt., son of Sir Donald Arthur Gordon Bannerman of Elsick, 13th Bt. and Barbara Charlotte Cameron, on 25 June 1960.¹
     From 25 June 1960, her married name became Bannerman.¹

     Reverend Philip Frank Ardagh-Walter was the Vicar at Woolton Hill, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Clare Naomi Bannerman was born on 24 April 1961.¹ She is the daughter of Sir David Gordon Bannerman of Elsick, 15th Bt. and Prudence Mary Ardagh-Walter.¹ She married Michael Angus O’Neill, son of Shane O’Neill, in 1991.¹
     From 1991, her married name became O’Neill.¹

     Michael Angus O’Neill is the son of Shane O’Neill.¹ He married Clare Naomi Bannerman, daughter of Sir David Gordon Bannerman of Elsick, 15th Bt. and Prudence Mary Ardagh-Walter, in 1991.¹
