     Anne Bannerman was the daughter of Charles Bannerman and Margaret Wilson.¹ She married Sir Charles Bannerman of Elsick, 8th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Bannerman of Elsick, 6th Bt. and Mary Gordon, on 14 August 1821.¹ She died in 1838.¹

     Sir John Fletcher married Marjory Leslie, daughter of Sir John Leslie of Wardis, 1st Bt. and Elspeth Gordon.¹
     He was a practising King’s Advocate.¹

     Margaret Wilson is the daughter of Patrick Wilson.¹ She married Charles Bannerman, son of Alexander Bannerman and Margaret Burnett, on 6 January 1785.²
     From 6 January 1785, her married name became Bannerman.²

     Patrick Wilson lived at Finzeauch, Scotland^G.¹

     Thomas Bannerman was born in 1743.² He was the son of Alexander Bannerman and Margaret Burnett.¹ He married Jane Simpson, daughter of George Simpson, in 1779.^2,3 He died in January 1820.¹
     He was a wine merchant at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Thomas Bannerman was baptised on 3 October 1795 at St. Nicholas, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.^2,3 He was the son of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Simpson.^1,2 He married Jane Hogarth, daughter of George Hogarth, on 22 June 1824.² He died on 14 April 1863 at age 67.¹
     He was a manufacturer at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Sir Alexander Bannerman was baptised on 8 October 1788 at St. Nicholas, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.^2,3 He was the son of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Simpson.^1,2 He married Margaret Gordon, daughter of Alexander Gordon, on 14 January 1824.² He died on 30 December 1864 at age 76, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Aberdeen between 1833 and 1847.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of Prince Edward Island between 1851 and 1854.¹ He held the office of Governor of the Bahamas between 1854 and 1857.¹ He held the office of Governor of Newfoundland between 1857 and 1864.¹

     Jane Hogarth is the daughter of George Hogarth.¹ She married Thomas Bannerman, son of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Simpson, on 22 June 1824.²
     From 22 June 1824, her married name became Bannerman.¹

     Sir George Bannerman of Elsick, 10th Bt. was born before 4 June 1827 at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was baptised on 4 June 1827 at Old Machar, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.² He was the son of Thomas Bannerman and Jane Hogarth.¹ He married Anne Mary Brooke, daughter of Richard Brooke, on 5 October 1869.¹ He died on 3 December 1901.³
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Engineers.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Bannerman, of Elsick, co. Kincardine [N.S., 1682] on 21 April 1877.¹
