     Sir Donald Macdonald, 12th of Sleat, 5th Bt. was born circa 1697.¹ He was the son of Sir Donald Macdonald, 11th of Sleat, 4th Bt. and Mary Macdonald.¹ He died in 1720, unmarried.¹
     He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 7 November 1712.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Macdonald, of Sleat, in the Isle of Skye, co. Inverness [N.S., 1625] in 1718.¹

     Sir James Macdonald, 13th of Sleat, 6th Bt. was the son of Sir Donald Macdonald, 10th of Sleat, 3rd Bt. and Lady Mary Douglas.¹ He married, firstly, Janet Macleod, daughter of Alasdair MacLeod, 2nd of Grishornish and Margaret MacQueen.¹ He married, secondly, Margaret Macdonald, daughter of John Macdonald.¹ He died in 1723 at Forres, Morayshire, Scotland^G.¹
     He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Macdonald, of Sleat, in the Isle of Skye, co. Inverness [N.S., 1625] in 1720.¹ He lived at Oransay, Scotland^G.¹

     Janet Macleod was the daughter of Alasdair MacLeod, 2nd of Grishornish and Margaret MacQueen.^1,2 She married, secondly, Sir James Macdonald, 13th of Sleat, 6th Bt., son of Sir Donald Macdonald, 10th of Sleat, 3rd Bt. and Lady Mary Douglas.¹ She married, firstly, John Macleod, 2nd of Talisker, son of Sir Roderick MacLeod, 1st of Talisker and Mary Mackinnon.¹
     Her married name became Macdonald.¹

     Clarence Rufus Blankenship was born in 1896.¹ He married Mary Beatrice Sumner, daughter of John Robert Edwards Sumner and Abbie Page Carew.¹ He died in 1953.¹

     John Macleod, 2nd of Talisker was the son of Sir Roderick MacLeod, 1st of Talisker and Mary Mackinnon.² He married Janet Macleod, daughter of Alasdair MacLeod, 2nd of Grishornish and Margaret MacQueen.¹
     He lived at Talisker, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret Macdonald was the daughter of John Macdonald.¹ She married Sir James Macdonald, 13th of Sleat, 6th Bt., son of Sir Donald Macdonald, 10th of Sleat, 3rd Bt. and Lady Mary Douglas.¹

     John Macdonald lived at Castleton, Scotland^G.¹

     Sir James Macdonald, 15th of Sleat, 8th Bt. was born circa 1742 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Sir Alexander Macdonald, 14th of Sleat, 7th Bt. and Lady Margaret Montgomerie.¹ He died on 26 July 1766 at Rome, Italy^G, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Macdonald, of Sleat, in the Isle of Skye, co. Inverness [N.S., 1625] on 23 November 1746.¹ He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 9 May 1759.¹ He was an accomplished scholar and mathematician, known as “The Marcellus of the North.”¹ Pope Clement XII gave him a public funeral, even though he was a Protestant.¹

     Lady Francesca Emily Purcell Fitzgerald was born on 6 July 1976.¹ She is the daughter of Maurice FitzGerald, 9th Duke of Leinster and Fiona Mary Francesca Hollick.¹

     Lady Pollyanna Louisa Clementine Fitzgerald was born on 9 May 1982.¹ She is the daughter of Maurice FitzGerald, 9th Duke of Leinster and Fiona Mary Francesca Hollick.¹
