     Sir Thomas Leigh was born in 1509.^2,3 He was the son of Roger Leigh and Alice Trafford.^4,3 He married Alice Barker, daughter of John Barker, before 13 March 1536.² He died on 17 November 1571.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Shropshire in 1536.² He was a merchant of the Staple (a restrictive trade group dealing in wool.)² He held the office of Alderman of London in 1552.² He held the office of Sheriff of London in 1555.² He was appointed Knight in 1558.² He held the office of Lord Mayor of London in 1558.²

     Sir John Leigh was the son of Sir Thomas Leigh, 1st Bt. and Katherine Spencer.^1,2 He married, firstly, Ursula Hoddesdon, daughter of Sir Christopher Hoddesdon, in 1588.³ He married, secondly, Anna Cope, daughter of Sir Anthony Cope, 1st Bt. and Frances Lytton, on 5 December 1599.^3,4 He died in 1625.^3,4
     He was appointed Knight in 1603.⁴

     Alice Barker was the daughter of John Barker.¹ She married Sir Thomas Leigh, son of Roger Leigh and Alice Trafford, before 13 March 1536.² She died in 1603.²
     From before 13 March 1536, her married name became Leigh.¹

     John Barker lived at Hagmond, Wolverton, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He was also known as John Coverall.¹

     Dorothy Pigott is the daughter of Reverend William Pigott and Dorothy Cotes.¹ She married Walter Harvey Thursby, son of John Harvey Thursby and Honor Pigott.¹
     Her married name became Thursby.¹

     Reverend Thomas Pigott was the son of Reverend Harfinch Pigott.¹ He died between 16 August 1775 and 4 June 1776.¹ His will was proven (by probate) on 4 June 1776.¹
     His last will was dated 16 August 1775.¹

     Dorothy Cotes was the daughter of John Cotes and Lady Dorothy Shirley.² She married Reverend William Pigott, son of Robert Pigott and Frances Ward.¹ She died in 1757.¹
     Her married name became Pigott.¹

     William Fellowes was the son of Coulson Fellowes and Urania Herbert.¹ He married Lavinia Smyth, daughter of James Smyth, on 17 May 1768.² He died on 4 February 1804.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Sudbury and Andover.² He lived at Ramsay Abbey, Huntingdonshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Nacton, Suffolk, England^G.² He also had two daughters and two younger sons (who all died without issue.)²

     Lavinia Smyth was the daughter of James Smyth.² She married William Fellowes, son of Coulson Fellowes and Urania Herbert, on 17 May 1768.² She died on 6 December 1827.²
     From 17 May 1768, her married name became Fellowes.¹

     Coulson Fellowes was born on 12 October 1696.² He was the son of William Fellowes and Mary Martin.³ He married Urania Herbert, daughter of Francis Herbert and Dorothy Oldbury, on 20 April 1725.² He died on 23 February 1769 at age 72.²
     He lived at Ramsay Abbey, Huntingdonshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Hampstead, Park Place, Huntingdonshire, England^G.² He lived at Eggesford, Devon, England^G.² He also had three daughters.²
