Peerage Record – 1726

     Sir Humphrey Francis de Trafford, 3rd Bt. was born on 8 July 1862.² He was the son of Sir Humphrey de Trafford, 2nd Bt. and Lady Annette Mary Talbot. He married Violet Alice Maud Franklin, daughter of James Franklin, on 9 August 1886.² He died on 10 January 1929 at age 66.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet de Trafford, of Trafford Park, Lancashire [U.K., 1841] on 4 May 1886.³ He gained the rank of Major and Honorary Lieutenant-Colonel in the Lancashire Hussars.²

     Lt. Hon. Albert Edward George Arnold Keppel was born on 12 January 1898. He was the son of Lt.-Col. Arnold Allen Cecil Keppel, 8th Earl of Albemarle and Lady Gertrude Lucia Egerton. He died on 31 July 1917 at age 19 at Ypres, Belgium^G, killed in action.² He was buried at Aeroplane Cemetery, Ypres, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 2nd Battalion, Rifle Brigade.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.² He fought in the Third Battle of Ypres.²

     Lady Elizabeth Mary Gertrude Keppel was born on 4 February 1890.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Arnold Allen Cecil Keppel, 8th Earl of Albemarle and Lady Gertrude Lucia Egerton.¹ She married General Sir Torquhil George Matheson of Lochalsh, 5th Bt., son of Sir Alexander Matheson of Lochalsh, 1st Bt. and Eleanor Irving Perceval, on 23 July 1923.¹ She died in 1986.²
     She was Voluntary Aid Detachment nurse between 1914 and 1918.¹ She was awarded the Royal Red Cross Medal 2nd class.¹ From 23 July 1923, her married name became Matheson.¹

     Very Rev. Hon. Robert William Henry Maude was born on 21 August 1784.¹ He was the son of Cornwallis Maude, 1st Viscount Hawarden and Anne Isabella Monck.² He married Hon. Martha Elizabeth Mary Prittie, daughter of Hon. Francis Aldborough Prittie and Martha Otway, on 3 May 1827.¹ He died on 31 October 1861 at age 77.¹
     He held the office of Dean of Clogher.¹ He held the office of Archdeacon of Dublin.¹

     Robert Pigott married Frances Ward, daughter of Hon. William Ward and Anna Parkes, circa 15 May 1695.² He died on 1 June 1764.
     He lived at Chetwynd, Shropshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1697.¹

     Honor Pigott was born circa 1713.³ She was the daughter of Robert Pigott and Frances Ward.¹ She married John Harvey Thursby circa 12 June 1731.³ She died on 24 September 1781.³
     Her married name became Thursby.

     Brigadier Bruce Meade Hamilton was born on 27 December 1926.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Col. Adrian Kelso Hamilton and Susannah Mary Arbuthnott.¹ He married Mary Elizabeth Walter, daughter of R. A. Walter, on 5 December 1953.¹ He died before 2000.²
     He gained the rank of Brigadier in the Black Watch.² He was educated at Sherborne School, Sherborne, Dorset, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Black Watch.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹

     Emma Rose Laycock was born on 12 June 1943 at Cranmer Court, London, England^G.^1,2 She is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Robert Edward Laycock and Lady Clare Angela Louise Ward.¹ She married Sir Richard Chartier Carnac Temple, 5th Bt., son of Sir Richard Antony Purbeck Temple, 4th Bt. and Lucy Geils de Lotbinière, on 25 July 1964.¹
     She was educated at Fritham House School, England^G.¹ She was educated at C & G of London Art School, London, England^G.¹ From 25 July 1964, her married name became Temple.¹ She was a mural painter.¹ She lived in 2003 at Lower Spargrove Farm, Shepton Mallet, Somerset, England^G.¹

     Geoffrey Robert Josceline Corbett was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He lived at Rossferry, Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Ireland^G.¹
