     Lady Nora Kathleen Annesley was born on 27 March 1950.¹ She is the daughter of Patrick Annesley, 10th Earl Annesley and Catherine Burgess.¹ She married John Bathurst Shaw Binning, son of John Bathurst Shaw Binning, circa 1968.¹
     From circa 1968, her married name became Binning.¹ She lived in 1999 at 6 Barons Way, Egham, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Nancy Ruth Cobbs was the daughter of Thomas F. Cobbs.¹ She married, secondly, James Hugh William Lowther, 7th Earl of Lonsdale, son of Anthony Edward Lowther, Viscount Lowther and Muriel Frances Farrar, on 6 March 1963.¹ She and James Hugh William Lowther, 7th Earl of Lonsdale were divorced in 1975.¹ She died on 4 July 1999.²
     Her married name became Stephenson.³ From 6 March 1963, her married name became Lowther.¹ After her marriage, Nancy Ruth Cobbs was styled as Countess of Lonsdale on 6 March 1963.

     Sir Charles Garden Assheton-Smith, 1st Bt. was born on 16 April 1851 at Ryde, Isle of Wight, England^G.² He was the son of Robert George Duff and Mary Astley. He was baptised on 19 June 1851 at Ryde, Isle of Wight, England. He married, firstly, Hon. Maud Frances Vivian, daughter of Charles Crespigny Vivian, 2nd Baron Vivian of Glynn and of Truro and Mary Elizabeth Panton, on 16 February 1875 at Bangor, County Down, Ireland^G.² He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Brinsley Sheridan, daughter of Algernon Thomas Brinsley Sheridan and Mary Lothrop Motley, on 10 July 1894.¹ He and Mary Elizabeth Brinsley Sheridan were divorced.¹ He married, thirdly, Sybil Mary Verschoyle, daughter of Lt.-Col. Henry William Verschoyle, on 4 September 1902.³ He died on 24 September 1914 at age 63.⁴
     He was given the name of Charles Garden Duff at birth.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Highland Light Infantry.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Carnarvonshire.³ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Carnarvonshire.³ On 8 September 1905 his name was legally changed to Charles Gordon Assheton-Smith by Royal Licence.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of Carnarvonshire in 1908.³ He was created 1st Baronet Duff, of Vaynol Park, Bangor, co. Caernarvon [U.K.] on 1 August 1911.⁵

     Hon. Charlotte Alice Parke was born in 1828.² She was the daughter of James Parke, 1st Baron Wensleydale of Walton and Cecilia Arabella Frances Barlow.³ She married Hon. William Lowther, son of Colonel Hon. Henry Cecil Lowther and Lady Lucy Eleanor Sherard, on 17 December 1853.¹ She died on 5 January 1908.⁴
     Her married name became Lowther.

     John Bathurst Shaw Binning is the son of John Bathurst Shaw Binning.¹ He married Lady Nora Kathleen Annesley, daughter of Patrick Annesley, 10th Earl Annesley and Catherine Burgess, circa 1968.¹

     Rt. Hon. Sir Gerald Augustus Lowther, 1st and last Bt. was born on 16 February 1858.³ He was the son of Hon. William Lowther and Hon. Charlotte Alice Parke.³ He married Alice Blight, daughter of Atherton Blight, on 28 February 1905.³ He died on 5 April 1916 at age 58.³
     He was with the Diplomatic Service between 1879 and 1913.³ He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1908.¹ He held the office of Ambassador to the Ottoman Empire between 1908 and 1913.³ He was created 1st Baronet Lowther [U.K.] on 19 January 1914.³

     Alice Blight was the daughter of Atherton Blight.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Sir Gerald Augustus Lowther, 1st and last Bt., son of Hon. William Lowther and Hon. Charlotte Alice Parke, on 28 February 1905.¹ She died on 20 November 1939.¹
     Her married name became Lowther. She was awarded the Star of the Order of Shefakat.¹ She was awarded the Order of Queen Elisabeth of Belgium.¹

     Harold Arthur Lowther was born on 23 July 1864.¹ He was the son of Hon. William Lowther and Hon. Charlotte Alice Parke.¹ He died on 20 December 1929 at age 65.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Bedfordshire regiment.¹

     Sir Henry Cecil Lowther was born on 27 January 1869.¹ He was the son of Hon. William Lowther and Hon. Charlotte Alice Parke.¹ He married Dorothy Maude Isabel Harvey, daughter of John Selwyn Harvey, on 28 June 1920.¹ He died on 1 November 1940 at age 71.¹
     Sir Henry Cecil Lowther usually went by his middle name of Cecil.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Royal Victorian Order (C.V.O.)¹ He was a practising Military Attaché to Paris between 1905 and 1909.¹ He was Military Secretary to HRH The Duke of Connaught between 1911 and 1913.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches and was wounded.¹ He was Brigade Commander between 1914 and 1915.¹ He was Military Secretary to the Commander-in-Chief in 1915.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Appleby between 1915 and 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General between 1917 and 1918 in the Staff HQ Forces.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Scots Guards.¹ He was awarded the Commandeur, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Major-General in 1919.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Penrith and Cockermouth between 1921 and 1922.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹

     Mary Eleanor Rose Lowther was the daughter of Hon. William Lowther and Hon. Charlotte Alice Parke.¹ She married Paul Vicugue on 29 April 1897.¹ She died on 14 August 1929.¹
