Field Marshal Thomas Grosvenor1

Field Marshal Thomas Grosvenor was born in 1764.1 He was the son of Thomas Grosvenor and Deborah Skynner.1 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Heathcote, daughter of Sir Gilbert Heathcote, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Hudson, in 1797.3 He married, secondly, Emma Wilbraham, daughter of George Wilbraham, in 1831.1 He died on 20 January 1851, without issue.1
He gained the rank of Colonel in the 65th Regiment.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.4
