Sir William Mordaunt Milner, 3rd Bt. was born on 6 October 1754.1 He was the son of Sir William Milner, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Mordaunt.1 He married Diana Sturt, daughter of Humphrey Sturt and Mary Pitfield, in 1776.1 He died on 9 September 1811 at age 56.1
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Milner, of Nun Appleton Hall, co. York [G.B., 1717] on 8 November 1774.1 He held the office of Mayor of York in 1787.1 He held the office of Mayor of York in 1790.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for York between 1790 and 1811.1
