James Parke, 1st Baron Wensleydale of Walton1 
James Parke, 1st Baron Wensleydale of Walton was born on 22 March 1782.1 He was the son of Thomas Parke and Anne Preston.3 He married Cecilia Arabella Frances Barlow, daughter of Samuel Francis Barlow and Mary Thornton, on 8 April 1817. He died on 25 February 1868 at age 85.1
He held the office of Baron of the Exchequer.4 He gained the title of 1st Baron Wensleydale of Walton.
