     Hon. Eva Gifford was born in 1846. She was the daughter of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley.¹ She married Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Trotter, 11th of Mortonhall and 2nd of Charterhall, son of Richard Trotter, 10th of Mortonhall and 1st of Charterhall and Mary Oswald, on 24 May 1866.¹ She died on 6 April 1915.¹
     Her married name became Trotter.

     Hon. Harriet Ella Gifford was born in 1847. She was the daughter of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Hon. Archibald Charles Henry Douglas-Pennant, son of Edward Gordon Douglas-Pennant, 1st Baron Penrhyn of Llandegai and Juliana Isabella Mary Dawkins-Pennant, on 5 January 1865.¹ She died on 12 February 1942.¹
     From 5 January 1865, her married name became Douglas-Pennant.²

     Hon. Emily Gifford was born in 1847. She was the daughter of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley.¹ She married Robert Thomas Napier Speir, son of Robert Speir and Mary Milliken-Napier, on 2 June 1868.¹ She died on 28 June 1928.¹
     Her married name became Speir.

     Hon. Evelyn Mary Gifford was born in 1850. She was the daughter of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley.^1,2 She married Thomas Arthur Fitzhardinge Kingscote, son of Colonel Thomas Henry Kingscote and Hon. Harriott Mary Anne Bloomfield, on 31 August 1872.¹ She died on 2 April 1947.¹
     Her married name became Kingscote.

     Hon. Eleanor Gifford was born in 1852 at Burgh Hill, Herefordshire, England.² She was the daughter of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Edward Mashiter Dansey, son of William Mallet Dansey and Julia Madelina Marjoribanks, on 5 November 1873 at Thornbury, Gloucestershire, England.^1,2 She died on 8 February 1939.¹
     Her married name became Dansey.

     Hon. Elspeth Fitzhardinge Gifford was born in 1855. She was the daughter of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Francis John Paul Butler, son of Paul Butler and Louisa Barnett, on 30 January 1877.¹ She died on 10 December 1913.¹
     Her married name became Butler.

     Edith Charlotte Gifford was born in 1863 at Gloucestershire, England.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley. She died in 1935 at Surrey, England.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Sir Henry Trotter, 11th of Mortonhall and 2nd of Charterhall was born on 5 January 1844.² He was the son of Richard Trotter, 10th of Mortonhall and 1st of Charterhall and Mary Oswald.² He married Hon. Eva Gifford, daughter of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley, on 24 May 1866.² He died on 16 July 1905 at age 61.²
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Berwickshire.² He gained the rank of Colonel in the Grenadier Guards.² He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.)¹ He lived at Morton Hall, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² He gained the rank of Major-General in the Home District.²

     Robert Thomas Napier Speir was born on 15 October 1841.² He was the son of Robert Speir and Mary Milliken-Napier.² He married Hon. Emily Gifford, daughter of Robert Francis Gifford, 2nd Baron Gifford of St. Leonard’s and Hon. Swinburne Frederica Charlotte FitzHardinge Berkeley, on 2 June 1868.³ He died on 3 April 1922 at age 80.
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)⁴ He lived at Culdees, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹
