     Muriel Douglas-Pennant, Viscountess Daventry was born on 8 August 1869.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. Archibald Charles Henry Douglas-Pennant and Hon. Harriet Ella Gifford.^1,2 She married Captain Rt. Hon. Edward Algernon FitzRoy, son of Charles FitzRoy, 3rd Baron Southampton and Hon. Ismania Catherine Nugent, on 19 November 1891.¹ She died on 8 July 1962 at age 92.¹
     Her married name became Fitzroy. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.¹ She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)¹ She was created 1st Viscountess Daventry, of Daventry, co. Northampton [U.K.] on 6 May 1943, with a special remainder to heirs of her body.¹

     Captain John Fitzhardinge Paul Butler, V.C. was born on 20 December 1888 at Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England^G.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Francis John Paul Butler and Hon. Elspeth Fitzhardinge Gifford.¹ He died on 5 September 1916 at age 27 at Matombo, Tanzania^G, from wounds received in action.² He was buried at Morogoro Cemetery, Morogoro, Tanzania^G.²
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was awarded the Victoria Cross (V.C.) on 23 August 1915, for his actions on 17 November 1914 and 27 December 1914. “In the Cameroons with a party of 13 men he went into thick bush and attacked and defeated a much greater force of the enemy. A machine gun and many loads of ammunition were captured. Whilst on patrol duty with a few men, he swam the Ekin River under heavy fire, carried out his reconnaissance on the far bank and swam back to safety.”³

     Robert Oliver Fitzroy, 2nd Viscount Daventry was born on 10 January 1893.¹ He was the son of Captain Rt. Hon. Edward Algernon FitzRoy and Muriel Douglas-Pennant, Viscountess Daventry.¹ He married Grace Zoë Guinness, daughter of Claude Hume Campbell Guinness and Zoë Virginie Nugent, on 5 September 1916.² He died on 19 January 1986 at age 93.¹
     Robert Oliver Fitzroy, 2nd Viscount Daventry usually went by his middle name of Oliver.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Osborne, Isle of Wight, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was Director of Minesweeping between 1940 and 1943.¹ He was commander of the H.M.S. Rodney between 1943 and 1946.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of Rutland in 1956.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Daventry, of Daventry, co. Northampton [U.K., 1943] on 8 July 1962.¹

     Grace Zoë Guinness was born on 13 October 1893.² She was the daughter of Claude Hume Campbell Guinness and Zoë Virginie Nugent.³ She married Robert Oliver Fitzroy, 2nd Viscount Daventry, son of Captain Rt. Hon. Edward Algernon FitzRoy and Muriel Douglas-Pennant, Viscountess Daventry, on 5 September 1916.² She died on 14 January 1978 at age 84.¹
     Her married name became Fitzroy. After her marriage, Grace Zoë Guinness was styled as Viscountess Daventry on 8 July 1962. At 36 Swan Court, London, England, (an unknown value.)²

     Hon. Mary Angela FitzRoy was born on 4 November 1919.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Oliver Fitzroy, 2nd Viscount Daventry and Grace Zoë Guinness.¹ She married, firstly, Major Anthony Dermot Melloney Musker, son of Major Herbert Musker, on 2 November 1940.¹ She married, secondly, Dr. Richard Mayon Mayon-White, son of Richard Hubert White, on 22 October 1962.² She died in 1984.³
     Her married name became Musker. From 22 October 1962, her married name became Mayon-White.²

     Major Anthony Dermot Melloney Musker was the son of Major Herbert Musker.¹ He married Hon. Mary Angela FitzRoy, daughter of Robert Oliver Fitzroy, 2nd Viscount Daventry and Grace Zoë Guinness, on 2 November 1940.¹ He died on 8 August 1959, killed in a motor racing accident.¹
     Major Anthony Dermot Melloney Musker usually went by his middle name of Dermot.¹

     Major Herbert Musker was born in 1878.² He married Nora Lonsdale Berry, daughter of J. William Berry and Mary Lonsdale.² He died in 1947.²

Mary Angela FitzRoy.² He married, firstly, Victoria (?) in 1974.² He and Victoria (?) were divorced in 1979.² He married, secondly, Lady Rose Diana Lambton, daughter of Lord Antony Claude Frederick Lambton and Belinda Bridget Blew-Jones, on 22 January 1979.¹ He and Lady Rose Diana Lambton were divorced in 1989.¹
