Major Charles Hugh Gregory-Hood1 
He was also known as Charles Hugh Hood.2 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Shropshire Royal Horse Artillery.2 He was Aide-de-Camp to General Sir H. L.
