     Alexander Stuart, 1st of Galstoun and Dreghorn was the son of Sir Alan Stuart of Darnley and Catherine Seton.¹ He died after 13 March 1450.
     He was ancestor of Frederick Stewart, Lord Pittenweem (created 1609.)¹ He lived at Galston, Ayrshire, Scotland^G.

     Herbert Maxwell, 1st Lord Maxwell was born before November 1413.¹ He was the son of Sir Herbert de Maxwell of Carlavenock and Katherine Stewart.¹ He married, firstly, unknown daughter Herries, daughter of Sir Herbert Herries of Terregles.² He married, secondly, Catherine Seton, daughter of Sir William Seton of Seton and Janet Dunbar, after 1439.³ He died before 14 February 1453/54.⁴
     He was appointed Knight in 1424.⁴ He was created 1st Lord Maxwell [Scotland] from 8 January 1440/41 to 3 July 1445.⁵

     Somerset Archibald Beaumont was born on 6 February 1835.¹ He was the son of Thomas Wentworth Beaumont and Henrietta Jane Emma Hawks Atkinson.¹ He died on 8 December 1921 at age 86, unmarried.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newcastle-upon-Tyne between 1860 and 1865.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wakefield between 1868 and 1874.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Northumberland.¹ He lived at Shere, Guildford, Surrey, England^G.¹

     Sir William Stewart, Seigneur d’Oison was the son of John Stuart, 1st Earl of Lennox and Margaret Montgomerie.^1,2 He died circa 1503, without issue.¹
     He gained the title of Seigneur d’Oison.¹

     Sir John Stewart, Seigneur d’Oison was the son of John Stuart, 1st Earl of Lennox and Margaret Montgomerie.^1,2 He married Anne Monypenny, daughter of Alexander Monypenny, Seigneur de Concressault.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Sempill, daughter of Sir Thomas Sempill of Eliotstoun and Elizabeth Ross, before 15 July 1486.¹ He died in 1512.¹
     He gained the title of Seigneur d’Oison.¹ He fought in the Battle of Terina, where he saved the life of Bernard Stewart.¹ He was Premier Homme d’Armes of France between 1505 and 1508.¹ He held the office of Chamberlain and Councillor of King Louis XII in 1508.¹ He was Captain of the King of France’s Body Guard of Scottish Archers between 1508 and 1512.¹

     Dudley Zamoiski Beaumont was born on 18 September 1836 at Scarborough, Yorkshire, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas Wentworth Beaumont and Henrietta Jane Emma Hawks Atkinson.¹ He married, firstly, Eliza Mary Hone in 1865 at Brighton, Sussex, England^G.² He married, secondly, Mary Elizabeth Sarjeant in 1871 at Brighton, Sussex, England^G.² He died on 15 December 1907 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was admitted to Lincoln’s Inn entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.¹ He lived in 1871 at Rock Gardens Lower, Brighton, Sussex, England^G.² He lived in 1881 at South Lodge, St. Peter, Kent, England^G.² He lived in 1891 at 137 Queens Road, Hastings, Sussex, England^G.²

     Lady Marion Stuart was the daughter of John Stuart, 1st Earl of Lennox and Margaret Montgomerie.^1,2,3 A contract for the marriage of Lady Marion Stuart and Robert Crichton of Kinnoull was signed on 8 May 1472.¹ She died from February 1483/84 to February 1491/92.
     From 8 May 1472, her married name became Crichton.¹

     Lady Elizabeth Stewart was the daughter of John Stuart, 1st Earl of Lennox and Margaret Montgomerie.^1,2 She married Sir John Colquhoun of Luss, son of Humphrey Colquhoun, 12th of Luss and Helen Erskine, circa 1480.³
     She was also known as Margaret.³ From circa 1480, her married name became Colquhoun.³

     Margaret Montgomerie was the daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 1st Lord Montgomerie and Margaret Boyd.^1,2 A contract for the marriage of Margaret Montgomerie and John Stuart, 1st Earl of Lennox was signed on 15 May 1438.³ She died, young.⁴
     From 15 May 1438, her married name became Stuart.
