George Herbert Arthur Edward Hyde Villiers, Lord Hyde was born on 6 May 1906.1 He was the son of George Herbert Hyde Villiers, 6th Earl of Clarendon and Hon. Adeline Verena Ishbel Cocks.3 He married Hon. Marion Feodorovna Louise Glyn, daughter of Frederic Glyn, 4th Baron Wolverton and Lady Edith Amelia Ward, on 18 April 1932.3 He died on 27 April 1935 at age 28 at De Beers Estate, Kimberley, South AfricaG, killed in a shooting accident.4
He was styled as Lord Hyde between 1914 and 1935.5 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Horse Guards.1 He graduated from Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1
