George Herbert Hyde Villiers, 6th Earl of Clarendon was born on 7 June 1877 at 31 Upper Brook Street, London, EnglandG.3 He was the son of Edward Hyde Villiers, 5th Earl of Clarendon and Lady Caroline Elizabeth Agar.4 He married Hon. Adeline Verena Ishbel Cocks, daughter of Herbert Haldane Somers Cocks and Blanche Margaret Standish Clogstoun, on 5 August 1905 at Trinity Church, Sloane Street, Chelsea, London, EnglandG.3 He died on 13 December 1955 at age 78.1
He was educated between 1891 and 1893 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.5 He was Extra Aide-de-Camp to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland between 1902 and 1905.1 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Clarendon [G.B., 1776] on 2 October 1914.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Hyde of Hindon, co.
