     Her married name became Clive.

     Captain Edward Archer Bolton Clive was born on 4 March 1878.² He was the son of General Edward Henry Clive and Isabel Webb.^1,2 He married Violet Louisa Ponsonby, daughter of John Henry Ponsonby and Florence Farquhar, on 11 October 1905.¹ He died on 3 July 1928 at age 50.¹
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² Captain.¹

     General Edward Henry Clive was born on 23 September 1837.² He was the son of George Clive and Ann Sybella Martha Farquhar.² He married Isabel Webb, daughter of Daniel Hale Webb, on 9 January 1867.² He died on 1 March 1916 at age 78.²

     Lieutenant George Richard Ponsonby was born on 6 March 1850.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Spencer Cecil Ponsonby-Fane and Hon. Louisa Anne Rose Lee Dillon.¹ He died on 5 February 1871 at age 20.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Robert Charles Ponsonby was born on 6 June 1854.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Spencer Cecil Ponsonby-Fane and Hon. Louisa Anne Rose Lee Dillon.¹ He married Mary Maclachlan, daughter of George Maclachlan, 21st of Maclachlan and Mary Thow, on 17 July 1877.¹ He died on 16 November 1909 at age 55.¹

     Mary Maclachlan was the daughter of George Maclachlan, 21st of Maclachlan and Mary Thow.^1,2 She married Robert Charles Ponsonby, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Spencer Cecil Ponsonby-Fane and Hon. Louisa Anne Rose Lee Dillon, on 17 July 1877.¹ She died on 15 May 1935.¹
     Her married name became Ponsonby.

     George Maclachlan, 21st of Maclachlan was born in 1803.² He was the son of Donald Maclachlan, 19th of Maclachlan and Susannah Campbell.² He married Mary Thow, daughter of John Thow.² He died in August 1877.²
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)² He lived at Machlachlan, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Anthony John Brabazon Clive was born on 19 November 1911.¹ He was the son of Captain Edward Archer Bolton Clive and Violet Louisa Ponsonby.¹ He died on 31 July 1912.¹

     Nicholas Brabazon Clive-Ponsonby-Fane was born on 7 December 1913.¹ He was the son of Captain Edward Archer Bolton Clive and Violet Louisa Ponsonby.¹ He married Petronilla D. Dunsterville, daughter of Graham Eardley Dunsterville and Eveline Margaret Hungerford Goldney, on 21 April 1936 at St. Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, London, England.¹ He died on 20 July 1963 at age 49.¹
     He was given the name of Nicholas Brabazon Clive at birth.¹ He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ In 1935 his name was legally changed to Nicholas Brabazon Clive-Ponsonby-Fane by Royal Licence.¹
