     Julia Woobine Kirkpatrick was born in 1791.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. William Kirkpatrick and Maria Seton Pawson.¹ She married Edward Strachey, son of Sir Henry Strachey, 1st Bt. and Jane Kelsall, on 13 October 1808.² She died in 1847.¹
     From 13 October 1808, her married name became Strachey.¹

     Jane Kelsall was born in 1738.¹ She was the daughter of John Kelsall.² She married, firstly, Captain Thomas Latham.² She married, secondly, Sir Henry Strachey, 1st Bt., son of Henry Strachey and Helen Clerk, on 23 May 1770.² She died on 12 February 1824.³
     Her married name became Latham.² From 23 May 1770, her married name became Strachey.²

     Sir Edward Strachey, 3rd Bt. was born on 12 August 1812 at Sutton Court, Chew Magna, Somerset, England.¹ He was the son of Edward Strachey and Julia Woobine Kirkpatrick.¹ He married, firstly, Elisabeth Wilkinson, daughter of Reverend W. Wilkinson, in 1844 at Clifton, Bristol, England.¹ He married, secondly, Mary Isabella Symonds, daughter of John Addington Symonds and Harriet Sykes, on 3 November 1857 at Clifton, Bristol, England.¹ He died on 24 September 1901 at age 89 at Sutton Court, Chew Magna, Somerset, England.¹
     He wrote the book A Commentary on the Marriage Service, published 1843.² He wrote the book Shakespeare’s Hamlet: an Attempt to find a Key to a great Moral Problem, published 1848.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Strachey, of Sutton Court [U.K., 1801] on 11 April 1858.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of Somerset in 1864.⁴ He wrote the book Jewish History and Politics, published 1874.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Somerset.⁴ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.⁴

     Sir John Strachey was born on 5 June 1823 at London, England.¹ He was the son of Edward Strachey and Julia Woobine Kirkpatrick.¹ He married Katherine Jane Batten, daughter of George H. M. Batten, on 8 October 1856.³ He died on 19 December 1907 at age 84 at London, England.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.)⁴ He was appointed Knight in 1872.³ He held the office of Lieutenant-Governor of the North-West Provinces between 1874 and 1876.³ He was appointed Knight Grand Commander, Order of the Star of India (G.C.S.I.) in 1878.³ He held the office of Member of the Secretary of State’s Council of India between 1885 and 1895.³ He wrote the book India, published 1888.³ He wrote the book Hastings and the Rohilla War, published 1892.³ He was with the Bengal Civil Service.¹

     Johann Heinrich Schenck married Anna Catharina Neubauer before 1778.¹ He died before 1778.¹

     Major Cecil Herbert Tollemache was born in 1893.² He was the son of Hon. Murray Arthur Tollemache and Margaret Witter.² He married, firstly, Agnes Marie Borgia Quan.² He and Agnes Marie Borgia Quan were divorced in 1929.² He married, secondly, Elizabeth Mary Kerle Sherlock in 1930.² He died in 1976.²
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 7th Battalion, Hampshire Regiment. He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the The Duke of Campbridge’s Own (Middlesex Regiment.) He gained the rank of Captain.² He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)

     Gloria Poppy Marie Tollemache was born in 1922.² She was the daughter of Major Cecil Herbert Tollemache and Agnes Marie Borgia Quan.² She married Lt.-Cdr. Andrew Clive Macpherson Pinsent, son of Clive Pinsent and Kathleen Jane Macpherson, on 27 January 1945.¹ She died in 1979.¹
     She gained the rank of 3rd officer in the Women’s Royal Naval Service.¹ From 27 January 1945, her married name became Pinsent.¹

     Antony Andrew Macpherson Pinsent was born on 26 February 1946.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Cdr. Andrew Clive Macpherson Pinsent and Gloria Poppy Marie Tollemache.² He married Clare Natalie Reynolds, daughter of Victor H. Reynolds, on 24 April 1969.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He lived at 4 North Pallant, Chichester, Sussex, England.¹
