Lady Jane Rochfort was the daughter of Robert Rochfort, 1st Earl of Belvidere and Hon. Mary Molesworth.1 She married, secondly, John King.2 She married, firstly, Brinsley Butler, 2nd Earl of Lanesborough, son of Humphrey Butler, 1st Earl of Lanesborough and Mary Berry, on 22 June 1754.3 She died in February 1828.3
Her married name became King.2 Her married name became Butler.

Westmeath [Ireland] on 16 March 1737/38.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] on 12 December 1749.2 He was created 1st Viscount Belfield, of co. Westmeath [Ireland] on 5 October 1751.1 He held the office of Muster Master-General [Ireland] between 1754 and 1774.2 He was created 1st Earl of Belvidere, of co. Westmeath [Ireland] on 29 November 1756.1 He lived at Gaulstown, County Westmeath, IrelandG.1
Mrs. Delaney writes of Robert and his second wife “he has discovered an intrigue, and they say he has come to England in search of him… He is very well-bred and very well in his person and manner; his wife is locked up in one of his houses in Ireland, with a strict guard over her, and they say he is so miserable as to love her even now; she is extremely handsome and has many personal accomplishments.”2
