Marcus Beresford, 1st Earl of Tyrone1 
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Beresford, of Coleraine, co. Londonderry [I., 1665] on 16 June 1701.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Coleraine [Ireland] between 1715 and 1720.2 He was created 1st Viscount Tyrone [Ireland] on 4 November 1720.4 He was created 1st Baron Beresford, of Beresford, co. Cavan [Ireland] on 4 November 1720.4 He was created 1st Earl of Tyrone [Ireland] on 18 July 1746.4

Catherine Power, Baroness la Poer1 
Her married name became Beresford. After her marriage, Catherine Power, Baroness la Poer was styled as Countess of Tyrone on 4 November 1720. She was created Baroness la Poer [Ireland] on 16 November 1767, when she was allowed the Barony of la Poer in fee by resolution of Irish House of Lords, and confirmed by the Crown on 19 Dec 1737.1

He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Decies [I., 1672] on 14 October 1693.3 He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Tyrone [I., 1672] on 14 October 1693.2 He succeeded as the 8th Baron le Power and Coroghmore, co. Waterford [I., 1535] on 14 October 1693.3 On his death, his earldom and viscountancy became extinct.3

He succeeded as the 5th Viscount of Fentoun [S., 1606] on 8 March 1710.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Erskine of Dirletowne [S., 1604] on 8 March 1710.1 He succeeded as the 5th Lord Dirletoun [S., 1619] on 8 March 1710.1 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Kellie [S., 1619] on 8 March 1710.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount of Fentoun [S., 1619] on 8 March 1710.1 He fought in the Jacobite Uprising in 1745, at the Battle of Preston, Battle of Falkirk and Battle of Culloden.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1745 in the Jacobite Army.2 Between 1746 and 1749 at Edinburgh Castle, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG, he was imprisoned.2
