     Belinda Adkin is the daughter of Timothy Orpe Adkin.¹ She married John Peregrine Bertie, son of Arnaud Albert Bertie and Joan Nelly Sidery, in 1986.¹
     Her married name became Bertie.

     Hon. Charles Claude Bertie was born on 31 August 1851.¹ He was the son of Montagu Bertie, 6th Earl of Abingdon and Elizabeth Lavinia Vernon-Harcourt.¹ He married Adelaide Burroughes, daughter of Reverend Jermiah Burroughes, on 29 April 1890.¹ He died on 4 September 1920 at age 69.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 47th Foot.¹

     Adelaide Burroughes was the daughter of Reverend Jermiah Burroughes.¹ She married Hon. Charles Claude Bertie, son of Montagu Bertie, 6th Earl of Abingdon and Elizabeth Lavinia Vernon-Harcourt, on 29 April 1890.¹ She died on 29 August 1903.¹
     Her married name became Bertie.

     Lady Elizabeth Emily Bertie was born on 5 November 1838.² She was the daughter of Montagu Bertie, 6th Earl of Abingdon and Elizabeth Lavinia Vernon-Harcourt.¹ She died on 4 May 1923 at age 84.¹

     Lady Lavinia Louisa Bertie was born on 6 January 1843.² She was the daughter of Montagu Bertie, 6th Earl of Abingdon and Elizabeth Lavinia Vernon-Harcourt.¹ She married Robert Bickersteth, son of Rt. Rev. Robert Bickersteth and Elizabeth Garde, on 16 January 1883.¹ She died on 5 July 1928 at age 85, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Bickersteth.

     Robert Bickersteth was the son of Rt. Rev. Robert Bickersteth and Elizabeth Garde.^1,2 He married Lady Lavinia Louisa Bertie, daughter of Montagu Bertie, 6th Earl of Abingdon and Elizabeth Lavinia Vernon-Harcourt, on 16 January 1883.¹ He died on 10 July 1916.¹
     He lived at Downgate House, Wadhurst, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Lady Frances Evelyn Bertie was born on 23 April 1848.² She was the daughter of Montagu Bertie, 6th Earl of Abingdon and Elizabeth Lavinia Vernon-Harcourt.¹ She died on 29 August 1929 at age 81.¹
     She was a nun at Convent Visitation, Harrow on the Hill, London, England^G.¹

     Rt. Rev. Robert Bickersteth was born on 24 August 1816 at Acton, Suffolk, England^G.² He was the son of John Bickersteth and Henrietta Lang.^2,3 He married Elizabeth Garde, daughter of Joseph Garde, on 21 July 1846.² He died on 15 April 1884 at age 67.²
     He graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1841 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He was the Curate between 1841 and 1843 at Sapcote, Leicestershire, England^G.² He was the Curate between 1843 and 1845 at St. Giles’, Reading, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1848 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was the Rector between 1851 and 1856 at St. Giles in the Fields, London, England^G.² He held the office of Canon Residentiary of Salisbury between 1854 and 1856.² He held the office of Bishop of Ripon between 1857 and 1884.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1858.² He graduated with a Doctor of Divinity (D.D.)¹ He wrote the book Sermons.²

     Reverend Jermiah Burroughes lived at Lingwood Lodge, Norfolk, England^G.¹

     Lt.-Cdr. Aubrey Charles Bertie was born on 22 January 1882.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. Alberic Edward Bertie and Lady Caroline Elizabeth McDonnell.¹ He married Jeanne Georgina Vissers, daughter of Arnold Vissers, on 23 May 1916.¹ He died on 14 January 1944 at age 61.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.¹
