Sir John Magill, 1st and last Bt.1 
He was given the name of John Johnston at birth.2 In 1677 his name was legally changed to John Magill.2 He was appointed Knight on 5 November 1680 by the Viceroy of Ireland.2 He was created 1st Baronet Magill, of Gill Hall, co. Down [Ireland] on 10 November 1680.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hillsborough [Ireland] from 1692 to 1693.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Downpatrick [Ireland] between 1695 and 1699.2 His last will was dated 13 June 1698.
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.2

Sir Tristram Beresford, 3rd Bt.1 
He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Beresford, of Coleraine, co. Londonderry [I., 1665] in October 1681.2 He gained the rank of commander in the Regiment of Foot.2 In 1689 he was attainted by King James II’s Parliament, for being a zealous Protestant.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Londonderry [Ireland] in 1695.2 His last will was dated 4 March 1698.2
