     Elizabeth Charlotte Alexander was the daughter of James Alexander and Eliza Dundas.¹ She married Stratford Canning, 1st Viscount Stratford de Redcliffe, son of Stratford Canning and Mehitabel Patrick, on 3 September 1825.¹ She died on 25 November 1882.¹
     From 3 September 1825, her married name became Canning.¹ She gained the title of Viscountess Stratford de Redcliffe on 24 April 1852.

     Nehitabbl (?) was born circa 1728.¹ She married Abraham Vermilye, son of John Vermeille and Sarah Odell.¹
     Her married name became Vermilye.¹

     Phebe Husted was born in 1755 at Delaware, U.S.A.^G.¹ She married William Vermilya, son of Abraham Vermilye and Nehitabbl (?).¹ She died in May 1839 at Delaware County, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹
     Her married name became Vermilya.¹

     Charity Molineaux married Abram Vermilya, son of William Vermilya and Phebe Husted.¹
     Her married name became Vermilya.¹

     Fanny Mead was born circa 1830 at Delaware County, New York, U.S.A.^G.¹ She married Avery Vermilya, son of Abram Vermilya and Charity Molineaux.¹
     Her married name became Vermilya.¹

     Robert Alexander was born on 10 February 1815.¹ He was the son of James Alexander and Charlotte Sophia Dashwood.¹ He married Julia Charlotte Fane, daughter of William Fane and Louisa Hay Dashwood, on 23 July 1844.¹ He died on 23 October 1863 at age 48.¹
     He lived at Upavon, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     Julia Charlotte Fane was born on 5 March 1825.² She was the daughter of William Fane and Louisa Hay Dashwood.¹ She was baptised on 24 March 1825 at Agra, Bengal, India.² She married Robert Alexander, son of James Alexander and Charlotte Sophia Dashwood, on 23 July 1844.¹ She died in 1903.¹
     From 23 July 1844, her married name became Alexander.¹

     Martha Chamberlain was born at Minnesota, U.S.A.^G.¹ She married Joseph Vermilya, son of Avery Vermilya and Fanny Mead.¹
     Her married name became Vermilya.¹

     Captain James Fane Alexander was born on 1 January 1846.¹ He was the son of Robert Alexander and Julia Charlotte Fane.¹ He married Aurea Otway Mayne, daughter of Major Henry Otway Mayne and Mary Ewer Turner, on 16 September 1884.¹ He died on 31 December 1891 at age 45.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 17th Lancers.¹ He lived at Edwinstowe Hall, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Aurea Otway Mayne was born on 11 September 1860 at Auringabad, India.² She was the daughter of Major Henry Otway Mayne and Mary Ewer Turner.^1,2 She married Captain James Fane Alexander, son of Robert Alexander and Julia Charlotte Fane, on 16 September 1884.¹ She married Ralph Henry Fenwicke Lombe in September 1897 at Westminster, London, England.² She died on 26 August 1939 at age 78.¹
     From 16 September 1884, her married name became Alexander.¹ From September 1897, her married name became Lombe.²
