     Major Paul Robert Mayne Alexander was born on 16 September 1885.¹ He was the son of Captain James Fane Alexander and Aurea Otway Mayne.¹ He married Sybil St. John Murphy, daughter of Albert St. John Murphy and Rose Georgina Maria Davis, on 27 May 1915.¹ He died on 7 January 1954 at age 68.¹

     From 27 May 1915, her married name became Alexander.¹ As of 1976, Sybil St. John Murphy lived at Martlesham Hall, Woodbridge, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Albert St. John Murphy was born on 20 February 1859.² He was the son of James Ignatius Murphy and Ellen Maria Gallwey.² He married Rose Georgina Maria Davis, daughter of Francis Arthur Davis and Hester Flora Blake Forster, on 1 February 1888 at Kingston, Surrey, England.^2,3 He died on 15 December 1952 at age 93.²
     He was educated at Downside School, Bath, Somerset, England^G.² He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)² He was a cricketer, tennis player and golfer.² He was Director of James J. Murphy & Company Ltd.² He lived at The Island House, Little Island, County Cork, Ireland^G.¹ He lived at Tivoli House, Cork, County Cork, Ireland^G.²

     Major Bryan James Mildmay Alexander was born on 1 February 1918.¹ He was the son of Major Paul Robert Mayne Alexander and Sybil St. John Murphy.¹ He married Evelyn Edith Phillips, daughter of Sir Lionel Phillips, 1st Bt., on 7 October 1940.¹ He died on 1 December 1984 at age 66 at Glamorgan, Wales.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was educated at Staff College, Camberley, Surrey, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Fusiliers.¹ He lived at Martlesham Hall, Woodbridge, Suffolk, England^G.¹

     Evelyn Edith Phillips is the daughter of Sir Lionel Phillips, 1st Bt.¹ She married Major Bryan James Mildmay Alexander, son of Major Paul Robert Mayne Alexander and Sybil St. John Murphy, on 7 October 1940.¹
     From 7 October 1940, her married name became Alexander.¹

     Simon Mayne Alexander was born on 12 March 1950.¹ He is the son of Major Bryan James Mildmay Alexander and Evelyn Edith Phillips.¹

     Robert William Alexander was born on 16 July 1924.¹ He is the son of Major Paul Robert Mayne Alexander and Sybil St. John Murphy.¹ He married Renée Myrtle de Rome, daughter of Walter Richard de Rome, on 1 September 1972.¹

     Renée Myrtle de Rome is the daughter of Walter Richard de Rome.¹ She married, firstly, Major Roy Richard Patmore.¹ She married, secondly, Robert William Alexander, son of Major Paul Robert Mayne Alexander and Sybil St. John Murphy, on 1 September 1972.¹
