     Susan Amelia Yorke was the daughter of Venerable Hon. Henry Reginald Yorke and Flora Elizabeth Campbell.^2,3 She married Charles Joseph Theophilus Hambro, son of Charles Joachim Hambro, Baron Hambro and Caroline Maria Gostenhofer, in 1857.⁴ She died on 9 July 1887.¹
     From 1857, her married name became Hambro.

     Rear-Admiral John James Leith was born on 22 October 1788.¹ He was the son of General Alexander Leith-Hay of Rannes and Mary Forbes.^1,2 He married Margaret Forbes, daughter of Alexander Forbes of Blackford and Margaret Bannerman, on 27 June 1843.¹ He died on 25 October 1854 at age 66.¹
     He was also known as John James Leith-Hay.³ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy.¹

     Major Henry Otway Mayne was born on 11 March 1819.² He was the son of Charles Otway Mayne and Emma Taylor.² He married Mary Ewer Turner on 12 January 1850 at St. Paul, Agra, Bengal, India.² He died on 2 November 1861 at age 42 at Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.²
     He gained the rank of commander in the Mayne’s Horse.³ He gained the rank of Major in the Indian Army.⁴

     Grace Otway Mayne was born on 23 May 1851 at Aurangabad, India.² She was the daughter of Major Henry Otway Mayne and Mary Ewer Turner.^3,2 She married Percival Lewis Hambro, son of Charles Joachim Hambro, Baron Hambro and Caroline Maria Gostenhofer, on 13 March 1869.¹ She died on 10 December 1870 at age 19 at Wallop house, Nether Wallop, Hampshire, England.^1,2
     From 13 March 1869, her married name became Hambro.

     General Alexander Leith-Hay of Rannes was born in 1758.² He was the son of John Leith of Leith Hall and Harriot Steuart.³ He married Mary Forbes, daughter of Charles Forbes of Ballogie, in 1784.² He died on 16 May 1838.²
     He was also known as Alexander Leith-Hay.² He was also known as Alexander Leith.² He gained the rank of General in the 73rd Regiment.² He inherited the Rannes estate from Andrew Hay.² He lived at Rannes, Banffshire, Scotland^G.³ He had two other daughters.²

     Margaret Forbes was the daughter of Alexander Forbes of Blackford and Margaret Bannerman.^1,2 She married Rear-Admiral John James Leith, son of General Alexander Leith-Hay of Rannes and Mary Forbes, on 27 June 1843.¹ She died on 12 April 1899.¹
     From 27 June 1843, her married name became Leith.¹ She was New Tag Blackford in 1858.³

     Alexander Forbes of Blackford was born in 1786.² He was the son of John Forbes of Blackford and Anna Margaretta Gregory.² He married, secondly, Elizabeth Leith-Hay, daughter of General Alexander Leith-Hay of Rannes and Mary Forbes.¹ He married, firstly, Margaret Bannerman, daughter of Charles Bannerman.² He died on 28 October 1851.²
     He lived at Blackford, Aberdeenshire, Scotland^G.³

     Percival Hambro was born on 5 August 1898.¹ He was the son of Henry Charles Thomas Hambro and Edith Gertrude Bonsor.² He died on 23 March 1918 at age 19 at Somme, France, killed on active service.^1,3
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the 1st Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps.³ He fought in the First World War.¹

     John Henry Hambro was born on 7 July 1904.¹ He was the son of Henry Charles Thomas Hambro and Edith Gertrude Bonsor.³ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Theresa de Knoop, daughter of Captain Jersey J. J. de Knoop and Evelyn Elizabeth Fletcher, on 23 April 1930.¹ He and Elizabeth Theresa de Knoop were divorced in 1947.¹ He married, secondly, Linnet Pamela Millicent Lafone, daughter of Major Edgar Mortimer Lafone, on 30 April 1947.¹ He died in 1965.¹
     John Henry Hambro also went by the nick-name of Jack.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was managing director UK Commercial Corporation between 1940 and 1945.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1944.¹ He was a director of John Dickinson & Company.¹ He was chairman of Hambros bank between 1963 and 1965.¹ He lived at The Hyde, Luton, Bedfordshire, England^G.¹

     Rhoda Annie Brooke was born on 10 January 1869.² She was the daughter of Leonard Dobbin Brooke and Rhoda Prentice.² She married Sir Thomas Graham Balfour, son of Thomas Graham Balfour and Georgina Prentice, on 4 June 1896.¹ She died on 13 December 1957 at age 88.²
     From 4 June 1896, her married name became Balfour.¹ She had two other sons.²
