     Sir Thomas Lombe was born on 5 September 1685.2 He was the son of Henry Lombe and Margaret (?)3,2 He was baptised on 25 June 1704 at Octagon Presbyterian Chapel, Norwich, Norfolk, EnglandG.2 He married Elizabeth Turner, daughter of John Turner and Hannah (?). He died on 3 January 1739 at age 53.2
     He held the office of Alderman of London.1

     Hannah Lombe was born in 1725.2 She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Lombe and Elizabeth Turner.1 She married Sir Robert Clifton, 5th Bt., son of Sir Gervase Clifton, 4th Bt. and Ann Bagenal, in June 1740.1
     From June 1740, her married name became Clifton.1

     Sir Robert Clifton, 5th Bt. is the son of Sir Gervase Clifton, 4th Bt. and Ann Bagenal. He married, firstly, Lady Frances Coote, daughter of Nanfan Coote, 2nd Earl of Bellomont and Lucia Anna de Nassau, Countess de Nassau, on 28 June 1723.2 He married Hannah Lombe, daughter of Sir Thomas Lombe and Elizabeth Turner, in June 1740.1
     He lived at Clifton, Nottinghamshire, EnglandG.2 He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.)2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Clifton, of Clifton, co. Nottingham [E., 1611] on 27 February 1731.
