     From 1865, her married name became Christian.⁴

     Jane Scott was born in 1696 at Broughton, Cockermouth, Cumberland, England^G.¹ She married Reverend Thomas Christian, son of Ewan Christian and Mary Cane, in 1736.¹ She died on 7 September 1737 at Crossthwaite, Cumberland, England^G, in childbirth.¹
