     Allan ‘nan Sop’ Maclean is the son of Lachlan ‘Cattanach’ Maclean, 7th of Duart and Marion Maclean.¹

     Lady Mary Campbell was the daughter of Colin Campbell, 1st Earl of Argyll and Isabel Stewart.¹ She married Angus Macdonald, Master of the Isles, son of John Macdonald, 11th Earl of Ross.¹
     Her married name became Macdonald.¹

     Angus Macdonald, Master of the Isles was born illegitimately before 1476.¹ He was the son of John Macdonald, 11th Earl of Ross.¹ He married Lady Mary Campbell, daughter of Colin Campbell, 1st Earl of Argyll and Isabel Stewart.¹ He died in 1490 at Inverness, Inverness-shire, Scotland^G, assassinated.¹
     He was styled as Lord of Trotternish.¹ He was styled as Master of the Isles.¹ In 1476 he was legitimated.²

     John Macdonald, 11th Earl of Ross was born circa 1435.² He was the son of Alexander Macdonald, 10th Earl of Ross and Elizabeth Seton.² He married Elizabeth Livingston, daughter of James Livingston, 1st Lord Livingston and Marian de Berwick, before 1464.² He died in 1498 at Dundee, Angus, Scotland^G.²
     He held the office of Warden of the Marches between 1449 and 1460.² He succeeded as the 11th Earl of Ross on 8 May 1449.² In 1461 he negotiated a treaty with England as if he were an independent sovereign.² On 1 December 1475 his life and lands were forfeited by the Scottish Parliament, after he launched an attack on Arran, Bute, Inverness and Nairn, in an alliance with King Edward IV of England.² He was created 1st Lord of the Isles [Scotland] on 10 July 1476.²

     Lady Catherine Campbell was the daughter of Archibald Campbell, 2nd Earl of Argyll and Lady Elizabeth Stuart.¹ She married, secondly, Archibald Campbell of Auchinbreck and Kilmichael, son of Dugald Campbell of Auchinbreck and Kilmichael and Agnes Lamont.¹ She married, firstly, Lachlan ‘Cattanach’ Maclean, 7th of Duart, son of Hector ‘Odhar’ Maclean, 6th of Duart and unknown daughter Mackintosh.¹
     Her married name became Campbell.² Her married name became Maclean.¹ She was also known as Elizabeth.¹

     Archibald Campbell of Auchinbreck and Kilmichael was born circa 1480 at Auchinbreck, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.² He was the son of Dugald Campbell of Auchinbreck and Kilmichael and Agnes Lamont.^3,1 He married, secondly, Lady Catherine Campbell, daughter of Archibald Campbell, 2nd Earl of Argyll and Lady Elizabeth Stuart.⁴ He married, firstly, Margaret Campbell of Ardkinglass, daughter of Colin Campbell, 3rd of Ardkinglass and Marion Houstoun, in 1505 at Ardkinglass, Lochgoihead, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.² He died circa 1546.¹
     He lived at Auchinbreck, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.⁴

     Alexander Popham was born circa 1660.² He was the son of Sir Francis Popham and Helena Rogers.³ He married Lady Anne Montagu, daughter of Ralph Montagu, 1st Duke of Montagu and Lady Elizabeth Wriothesley.^4,2 He died on 16 June 1705.²
     He was born a deaf-mute, but later was taught to speak.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.)⁴ He lived at Littlecote, Berkshire, England^G.⁴

     John Campbell, 2nd of Skipness was the son of Archibald Campbell, 1st of Skipness and Janet Douglas.¹ He married Marion Montgomerie, daughter of Hugh Montgomerie.¹

     Marion Montgomerie was born before 1500. She was the daughter of Hugh Montgomerie.¹ She married, thirdly, John Campbell, 2nd of Skipness, son of Archibald Campbell, 1st of Skipness and Janet Douglas.¹ She married, secondly, William Sempill, 2nd Lord Sempill, son of John Sempill, 1st Lord Sempill and Margaret Colville.² She married, firstly, Thomas Crawford of Auchinames, son of James Crawford of Auchinames and Margaret Douglas.²
     Her married name became Campbell.² Her married name became Crawford.³ Her married name became Sempill.²
