     Elizabeth Sutherland was the daughter of William Sutherland of Duffus and Janet Innes.^2,3 She married John Sinclair, 3rd Earl of Caithness, son of William Sinclair, 2nd Earl of Caithness and Margaret Keith, before 1527.¹ She died on 14 July 1527.¹
     After her marriage, Elizabeth Sutherland was styled as Countess of Caithness before 1527. From before 1527, her married name became Sinclair.

     Colin Campbell, 3rd of Ardkinglass was born before 1431 at Ardkinglass, Lochgoihead, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of John Campbell, 2nd of Ardkinglass and Marion Campbell of Craignish.² He married Marion Houstoun, daughter of Sir John Houstoun of that Ilk and Elizabeth Sinclair, circa 1449 at Houston, Renfrewshire, Scotland^G. He died before 20 January 1479.¹

     Marion Houstoun is the daughter of Sir John Houstoun of that Ilk and Elizabeth Sinclair.² She married, secondly, Robert Crawford of Auchinames, son of Archibald Crawford of Auchinames and Margaret Douglas.² She married Colin Campbell, 3rd of Ardkinglass, son of John Campbell, 2nd of Ardkinglass and Marion Campbell of Craignish, circa 1449 at Houston, Renfrewshire, Scotland^G.
     Her married name became Crawford.² From circa 1449, her married name became Campbell.¹

     Donald Campbell, 1st of Kilmory was born circa 1513 at Kilmorie, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Archibald Campbell of Auchinbreck and Kilmichael and Margaret Campbell of Ardkinglass.¹ He married Grizel Stewart circa 1550 at Kildonan, Scotland^G.¹ He died after 7 November 1593.²

     Grizel Stewart was born circa 1525 at Kildonnan, Scotland^G.¹ She married Donald Campbell, 1st of Kilmory, son of Archibald Campbell of Auchinbreck and Kilmichael and Margaret Campbell of Ardkinglass, circa 1550 at Kildonan, Scotland^G.¹
     She was also known as Elspeth.¹ From circa 1550, her married name became Campbell.¹

     Patrick Campbell of Stuck was born in 1560 at Stuck, Perthshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Donald Campbell, 1st of Kilmory and Grizel Stewart.² He married Elizabeth Cameron, daughter of John Cameron of Callart, circa 1594 at Callart, Scotland^G.¹ He married Helen Woddrop before 1619.¹ He died in 1631.¹

     Elizabeth Cameron is the daughter of John Cameron of Callart.¹ She married Patrick Campbell of Stuck, son of Donald Campbell, 1st of Kilmory and Grizel Stewart, circa 1594 at Callart, Scotland^G.¹
     From circa 1594, her married name became Campbell.¹

     John Cameron of Callart was born circa 1543 at Callart, Scotland^G.¹

     Reverend Dugald Campbell of Knapdale was born in 1599 at Knapdale, Argyllshire, Scotland^G.¹ He was the son of Patrick Campbell of Stuck and Elizabeth Cameron.¹ He married Margaret Maxwell, daughter of George Maxwell of Newark, circa 1626.¹ He died in 1673.¹
     He was educated in 1620 at University of Glasgow, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Margaret Maxwell was born circa 1603.¹ She was the daughter of George Maxwell of Newark.¹ She married Reverend Dugald Campbell of Knapdale, son of Patrick Campbell of Stuck and Elizabeth Cameron, circa 1626.¹ She died after 1638.²
     From circa 1626, her married name became Campbell.¹
