     Alison Skene was the daughter of John Skene of Hallyards. She married Sir Alexander Swinton, Lord Mersington, son of Sir Alexander Swinton, 22nd of that Ilk and Margaret Home.¹
     Her married name became Swinton.¹

     General Lord George Augustus Frederick Paget was born on 16 March 1818.² He was the son of Field Marshal Henry William Paget, 1st Marquess of Anglesey and Lady Charlotte Cadogan.² He married, firstly, Agnes Charlotte Paget, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Arthur Paget and Lady Augusta Fane, on 27 February 1854.¹ He married, secondly, Louisa Elizabeth Heneage, daughter of Charles Fieschi Heneage and Hon. Louisa Elizabeth Graves, on 6 February 1861.² He died on 30 June 1880 at age 62.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Beaumaris between 1847 and 1857.² He fought in the Battle of Alma.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 4th Light Dragoons.² He fought in the Battle of Balaclava.² He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Light Cavalry Brigade.² He gained the rank of General in the British Army.² He was Colonel of the 4th Hussars.² He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1870.¹

     Alexander Mackenzie, 1st of Kilcoy was born in 1578.¹ He was the son of Sir Colin Mackenzie, 11th of Kintail and Barbara Grant.¹ He married Jean Fraser, daughter of Thomas Fraser of Knockie, and 1st of Strichen and Isobel Forbes, on 15 August 1611.¹
     He was also known as Kenneth Mackenzie of Kilcoy.²

     Reverend Henry Binfield was Vicar at Albrighton, Shropshire, England.¹

     Richard Mather lived.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Samuel Smith gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in the Bengal Cavalry.¹

     Sofie Frederikke Vilhelmine von Uexkull-Güldenband was born in 1756.¹ She was the daughter of Karl Gustav Friedrich Graf von Uexkull-Güldenband. She married David Wemyss, 6th Earl of Wemyss, son of James Wemyss, 5th Earl of Wemyss and Janet Charteris, on 9 September 1776 at Beutal, Switzerland.¹ She died on 26 November 1777, in childbirth.²
     After her marriage, Sofie Frederikke Vilhelmine von Uexkull-Güldenband was styled as Countess of Wemyss on 9 September 1776. Her married name became Wemyss.
