Charles Anderson-Pelham, 1st Baron Yarborough 
He was given the name of Charles Anderson at birth.3 He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 In 1763 his name was legally changed to Charles Anderson-Pelham.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Whig) for Beverley between 1768 and 1774.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1771.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lincolnshire between 1774 and 1794.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1777.1 He held the office of Recorder of Grimsby in 1786.1 He was created 1st Baron Yarborough, of Yarborough, Lincolnshire [Great Britain] on 13 August 1794.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) in 1796.1
