George Morison, 2nd of Bognie1

     George Morison, 2nd of Bognie was born in 1640. He was the son of Alexander Morison, 1st of Bognie.1 He married Christian Urquhart, daughter of Sir Alexander Urquhart of Cromarty and Jean Elphinstone, in 1680.1 He died before 1 August 1699.1
     He also had two daughters.2

     Christian Urquhart was the daughter of Sir Alexander Urquhart of Cromarty and Jean Elphinstone.1,2 She married, firstly, Thomas Rutherfurd, 2nd Lord Rutherfurd circa 24 February 1662/63.1 She married by contract, secondly, James Crichton, 2nd Viscount Frendraught, son of James Crichton, 1st Viscount Frendraught and Marion Irvine, on 14 November 1669.1 She married, thirdly, George Morison, 2nd of Bognie, son of Alexander Morison, 1st of Bognie, in 1680.1
     From circa 24 February 1662/63, her married name became Rutherfurd.1 After her marriage, Christian Urquhart was styled as Viscountess Frendraught on 14 November 1669. From 14 November 1669, her married name became Crichton.1 From 1680, her married name became Morison.1

     Sir Alexander Urquhart of Cromarty was born in 1613.2 He was the son of Sir Thomas Urquhart of Cromarty and Christian Elphinstone.2 He married Jean Elphinstone, daughter of Alexander Elphinstone, 6th Lord Elphinstone and Lilias Elphinstone.2 He died in 1667.2
     He held the office of Hereditary Sheriff of Cromarty in 1660.3

     Thomas Rutherfurd, 2nd Lord Rutherfurd married Christian Urquhart, daughter of Sir Alexander Urquhart of Cromarty and Jean Elphinstone, circa 24 February 1662/63.1 He died on 11 April 1668, without issue.1
     He gained the title of 2nd Lord Rutherfurd.1

James Crichton, 2nd Viscount Frendraught1

     James Crichton, 2nd Viscount Frendraught was the son of James Crichton, 1st Viscount Frendraught and Marion Irvine.2 A contract for the marriage of James Crichton, 2nd Viscount Frendraught and Christian Urquhart was signed on 14 November 1669.1 He died from 16 September 1674 to 22 January 1674/75.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Crichton [S., 1642] before 17 August 1665.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Frendraught [S., 1642] before 17 August 1665.1 He repurchased Frendraught using his wife’s patrimony and jointure of her first marriage.2

     William Crichton, 3rd Viscount Frendraught was the son of James Crichton, 2nd Viscount Frendraught and Christian Urquhart.1 He died between 4 March 1680 and 17 August 1686, unmarried.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Crichton [S., 1642] on 29 December 1674.2 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Frendraught [S., 1642] on 29 December 1674.2 He was a ward of his tutor, Lewis Crichton, 4th Viscount of Frendraught on 4 December 1678.2

     Theodore Morison, 3rd of Bognie was born in 1685.1 He was the son of George Morison, 2nd of Bognie and Christian Urquhart.1 He married Katherine Maitland, daughter of Sir Charles Maitland of Pitrichie, 3rd Bt. and Jean Forbes, on 14 April 1717 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1,2 He died in June 1766.1
