     Lady Charlotte Leslie was the daughter of David Leslie, 8th Earl of Leven and Wilhelmina Nisbet.¹ She died in 1830.¹

     Alexander Robert Leslie-Melville, 16th Earl of Leven was born on 13 May 1924.¹ He was the son of Archibald Alexander Leslie-Melville, 15th Earl of Leven and Lady Rosamond Sylvia Diana Mary Foljambe.¹ He married Susan Steuart Menzies, daughter of Lt.-Col. Ronald Steuart Menzies of Menzies and Sybil Mary Willoughby Boulton, on 30 April 1953.² He died on 7 April 2012 at age 87.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was wounded.¹ He succeeded as the 13th Lord Raith, Monymaill and Balwearie [S., 1690] on 15 January 1947.² He succeeded as the 16th Lord Balgonie [S., 1641] on 15 January 1947.² He succeeded as the 13th Earl of Melville [S., 1690] on 15 January 1947.² He succeeded as the 16th Earl of Leven [S., 1641] on 15 January 1947.² He succeeded as the 13th Viscount of Kirkcaldy [S., 1690] on 15 January 1947.² He succeeded as the 16th Lord Melville of Monymaill [S., 1616] on 15 January 1947.² He was Aide-de-Camp to the Governor-General of New Zealand between 1951 and 1952.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Nairn between 1961 and 1969.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Nairn between 1969 and 1999.¹ He held the office of Chairman of the Nairn County Council between 1970 and 1974.¹

     Susan Steuart Menzies was born on 30 March 1933.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Ronald Steuart Menzies of Menzies and Sybil Mary Willoughby Boulton.¹ She married Alexander Robert Leslie-Melville, 16th Earl of Leven, son of Archibald Alexander Leslie-Melville, 15th Earl of Leven and Lady Rosamond Sylvia Diana Mary Foljambe, on 30 April 1953.¹ She died on 8 October 2022 at age 89.²
     From 30 April 1953, her married name became Leslie-Melville. From 30 April 1953, her married name became Countess of Leven and Melville.

     Lt.-Col. Ronald Steuart Menzies of Menzies was born on 8 April 1884.² He was the son of William George Steuart-Menzies of Culdares and Arndilly and Constance Anne Ellen Wethered.^1,2 He married, firstly, Olivia Anne Turner-Farley, daughter of Thomas Turner-Farley, on 19 October 1912.² He and Olivia Anne Turner-Farley were divorced in 1931.² He married, secondly, Sybil Mary Willoughby Boulton, daughter of Gerald Bowman Boulton and Florence Emily Newbald, on 9 December 1931.¹ He died on 2 October 1961 at age 77.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for banffshire.² He gained the rank of Major in the Scots Guards.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 6th Gordon Highlanders.¹ He held the position of Chief of the Clan Menzies from on 2 April 1958.² He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 2 April 1958.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Banffshire.² He lived at Arndilly House, Craigellachie, Banffshire, Scotland^G.²

     Dr. Christopher Wren was born in 1589.¹ He died in 1658.¹
     He held the office of Dean of Windsor.

     Lieutenant Hon. John Montagu Stopford was born on 15 April 1853.² He was the son of James Thomas Stopford, 4th Earl of Courtown and Dora Pennefather.² He married Winifred Ellen Reilly, daughter of John Reilly and Hon. Augusta Sudgen, on 5 May 1881.¹ He died on 22 October 1885 at age 32.²
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Grenadier Guards.³

     Sir Dougal Orme Malcolm was born on 6 August 1877.² He was the son of William Rolle Malcolm and Georgina Wellesley.^1,2 He married, firstly, Dora Claire Stopford, daughter of Lieutenant Hon. John Montagu Stopford and Winifred Ellen Reilly, on 20 June 1910.¹ He married, secondly, Lady Evelyn Hely Hutchinson, daughter of John Luke George Hely Hutchinson, 5th Earl of Donoughmore of Knocklofty and Frances Isabella Stephens, on 3 May 1923.³ He died on 30 August 1955 at age 78, without issue.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.³ He was Vice-President of the British North Borneo Company.³ He graduated from New College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1899 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)³ He was President of British South Africa Company.³ He was with the Colonial Office.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1938.³ He was awarded the Grand Cross, Military Order of Christ of Portugal in 1949.³

     Lady Winifred Helena Lettice Gore was born on 11 August 1891.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur Saunders William Charles Fox Gore, 5th Earl of Arran of the Arran Islands and Winifred Ellen Reilly.¹ She died on 6 December 1958 at age 67, unmarried.¹

     Lt.-Gen. Hon. Sir Frederick William Stopford was born on 22 February 1854.¹ He was the son of James Thomas Stopford, 4th Earl of Courtown and Dora Pennefather.¹ He died on 4 May 1929 at age 75, unmarried.¹
     He held the office of Page of Honour to HM Queen Victoria between 1866 and 1870.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He fought in the Sudan Campaign.¹ He fought in the Egypt Campaign.¹ He fought in the Boer War.¹ He was awarded the Order of Medjidie of Egypt 5th Class.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He held the office of Lieutenant of the Tower of London between 1912 and 1914.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant of the Tower of London between 1915 and 1917.¹

     Rear-Admiral Hon. Walter George Stopford was born on 18 September 1855.¹ He was the son of James Thomas Stopford, 4th Earl of Courtown and Dora Pennefather.¹ He married Florence Mary Baker, daughter of Hon. Loran E. Baker, on 11 January 1893.¹ He died on 18 December 1918 at age 63.¹
     He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King Edward VII between 1906 and 1907.¹
