     Hon. Caroline Amelia Saumarez was born on 9 September 1839.² She was the daughter of Colonel John St. Vincent Saumarez, 3rd Baron de Saumarez and Caroline Esther Rhodes.² She married George Ives Irby, 4th Baron Boston, son of George Irby, 3rd Baron Boston and Rachel Ives Drake, on 20 July 1861 at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.^2,3 She died on 20 December 1922 at age 83.¹
     Hon. Caroline Amelia Saumarez usually went by her middle name of Amelia.⁴ From 20 July 1861, her married name became Irby.² After her marriage, Hon. Caroline Amelia Saumarez was styled as Baroness Boston on 20 July 1861. She was a nun at Lavender Hill The Ascension, St. Bartholomew, London, England^G, and was a principal benefactor of this parish.⁴ She took the religious name of Mother Mary Caroline of the Benedictine Community of the Compassion of Jesus.⁴

     Colonel John St. Vincent Saumarez, 3rd Baron de Saumarez was born on 28 May 1806.² He was the son of Admiral James Saumarez, 1st Baron de Saumarez and Martha Le Marchant.³ He married, firstly, Caroline Esther Rhodes, daughter of William Rhodes, on 2 June 1838.² He married, secondly, Margaret Antoinette Northey, daughter of William Richard Hopkyns Northey, on 13 April 1850.² He died on 8 January 1881 at age 74.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron de Saumarez, in the Island of Guernsey [U.K., 1831] on 9 April 1863.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Saumarez, in the Island of Guernsey [U.K., 1801] on 9 April 1863.²

     Caroline Esther Rhodes was the daughter of William Rhodes.¹ She married Colonel John St. Vincent Saumarez, 3rd Baron de Saumarez, son of Admiral James Saumarez, 1st Baron de Saumarez and Martha Le Marchant, on 2 June 1838.² She died on 15 July 1846.²
     From 2 June 1838, her married name became Saumarez.

     William Rhodes lived at Kirskill Hall, Yorkshire, England^G.¹ He lived at Bramhope Hall, Yorkshire, England^G.²

     Florance George Henry Irby, 5th Baron Boston was born on 9 May 1837.¹ He was the son of George Ives Irby, 4th Baron Boston and Fanny Elizabeth Hopkins-Northey.¹ He married Hon. Augusta Caroline Saumarez, daughter of Colonel John St. Vincent Saumarez, 3rd Baron de Saumarez and Caroline Esther Rhodes, on 17 October 1859 at St. Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, London, England^G.¹ He died on 4 January 1877 at age 39 at Porhamel, Anglesey, Wales^G.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Irby, of Whapload and Boston, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1704] on 22 December 1869.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Baron Boston, of Boston, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1761] on 22 December 1869.¹

     Hon. Augusta Caroline Saumarez was born on 25 November 1841.¹ She was the daughter of Colonel John St. Vincent Saumarez, 3rd Baron de Saumarez and Caroline Esther Rhodes.¹ She married, firstly, Florance George Henry Irby, 5th Baron Boston, son of George Ives Irby, 4th Baron Boston and Fanny Elizabeth Hopkins-Northey, on 17 October 1859 at St. Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge, London, England^G.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Henry Percy Anderson on 16 April 1883 at Hedsor, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ She died on 16 February 1929 at age 87.²
     From 17 October 1859, her married name became Irby.¹ After her marriage, Hon. Augusta Caroline Saumarez was styled as Baroness Boston on 22 December 1869. From 16 April 1883, her married name became Anderson.¹

     Sir Henry Percy Anderson was born circa 1831.¹ He married, secondly, Hon. Augusta Caroline Saumarez, daughter of Colonel John St. Vincent Saumarez, 3rd Baron de Saumarez and Caroline Esther Rhodes, on 16 April 1883 at Hedsor, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He died on 19 July 1896 at 53 Eaton Square, London, England^G.¹ He was buried at Hedsor, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹

     George Florance Irby, 6th Baron Boston was born on 6 September 1860 at The Grange, Taplow, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Florance George Henry Irby, 5th Baron Boston and Hon. Augusta Caroline Saumarez.¹ He married Cecilia Constance Irby, daughter of Hon. Augustus Anthony Frederick Irby and Jessie Augusta Montgomery-Cuninghame, on 13 March 1890 at Hedsor, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He died on 16 September 1941 at age 81, without issue.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Boston, of Boston, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1761] on 4 January 1877.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Irby, of Whapload and Boston, co.      Cecilia Constance Irby was born on 23 February 1870.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Augustus Anthony Frederick Irby and Jessie Augusta Montgomery-Cuninghame.¹ She married George Florance Irby, 6th Baron Boston, son of Florance George Henry Irby, 5th Baron Boston and Hon. Augusta Caroline Saumarez, on 13 March 1890 at Hedsor, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ She died on 10 January 1938 at age 67 at Monkhatch Compton, Guildford, Surrey, England^G.² She was buried on 13 January 1938.²
     After her marriage, Cecilia Constance Irby was styled as Baroness Boston on 13 March 1890. She was awarded the Order of Mercy.³

     Jessie Augusta Montgomery-Cuninghame was born in 1835.² She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Montgomery-Cuninghame of Cuninghame, 8th Bt. and Charlotte Niven Doig Hutcheson.^1,3 She married Hon. Augustus Anthony Frederick Irby, son of George Irby, 3rd Baron Boston and Rachel Ives Drake, on 22 May 1866.⁴ She died on 13 July 1908.⁴
     From 22 May 1866, her married name became Irby.¹
