     Claudia Ann Gisele Horsfield was born on 18 November 1957.¹ She is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. David Ralph Horsfield and Sheelah Patricia Royal Eagan.¹

     Malcolm John Maurice Horsfield was born on 1 May 1920.¹ He was the son of Major Ralph Beecroft Horsfield and Morah Susan Stuart Baynes.¹ He died on 15 October 1947 at age 27, unmarried.¹

     Major Gilbert Samuel Baynes was born on 10 April 1855.¹ He was the son of Sir William John Walter Baynes, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Stuart.¹ He died on 20 March 1935 at age 79, unmarried.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 60th Royal Rifles.¹ He fought in the First Boer War in 1881.¹ He fought in the Eastern Sudan Campaign in 1884.¹

     Lt.-Col. Kenneth Schalch Baynes was born on 20 February 1857.¹ He was the son of Sir William John Walter Baynes, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Stuart.¹ He married Florence Stewart Meetkerke Ewing, daughter of Reverend Alexander Ewing, on 6 February 1893.¹ He died on 16 March 1940 at age 83, without issue.¹
     He fought in the Egypt Campaign.¹ He fought in the Sudan Expedition between 1882 and 1885, where he was mentioned in despatches twice.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Inverness-shire.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 79th Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹

     Florence Stewart Meetkerke Ewing was the daughter of Reverend Alexander Ewing.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Kenneth Schalch Baynes, son of Sir William John Walter Baynes, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Stuart, on 6 February 1893.¹ She died on 28 May 1953.¹
     From 6 February 1893, her married name became Baynes.¹

     Reverend Alexander Ewing was the Vicar at Walmer, Kent, England^G.¹

     Edward Neil Baynes was born on 1 April 1861.¹ He was the son of Sir William John Walter Baynes, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Stuart.¹ He married Charlotte Augusta Irby, daughter of Hon. Augustus Anthony Frederick Irby and Jessie Augusta Montgomery-Cuninghame, on 31 July 1888.¹ He died on 20 January 1951 at age 89.¹
     He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)²

     Charlotte Augusta Irby was the daughter of Hon. Augustus Anthony Frederick Irby and Jessie Augusta Montgomery-Cuninghame.^1,2 She married Edward Neil Baynes, son of Sir William John Walter Baynes, 3rd Bt. and Margaret Stuart, on 31 July 1888.¹ She died on 8 July 1949.¹
     She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)² From 31 July 1888, her married name became Baynes.¹

     Hon. Augustus Anthony Frederick Irby was born on 13 February 1820.² He was the son of George Irby, 3rd Baron Boston and Rachel Ives Drake.² He married Jessie Augusta Montgomery-Cuninghame, daughter of Sir Thomas Montgomery-Cuninghame of Cuninghame, 8th Bt. and Charlotte Niven Doig Hutcheson, on 22 May 1866.² He died on 5 April 1870 at age 50.²
     He lived at Hillingdon Grove, Uxbridge, London, England^G.²

     Edward Stuart Augustus Baynes was born on 25 June 1889.¹ He was the son of Edward Neil Baynes and Charlotte Augusta Irby.¹ He married Helen Mary Meredith, daughter of George Alfred Meredith, on 9 November 1918.¹ He died in 1972.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He gained the rank of Temporary Captain in the 11th Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps.¹ He was in the Department of Overseas Trade between 1918 and 1940.¹ He was in the Dominions Office between 1941 and 1946. He was U.K. Trade Commissioner to Ireland between 1946 and 1954.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1950.¹
