     From 1991, her married name became Chenevix-Trench.¹

     John Hamilton FitzMaurice, Viscount Kirkwall was born on 9 October 1778.¹ He was the son of Hon. Thomas FitzMaurice and Mary O’Brien, Countess of Orkney.¹ He married Hon. Anna Maria de Blaquiere, daughter of John Blaquiere, 1st Baron de Blaquiere of Ardkill and Eleanor Dobson, on 11 August 1802.¹ He died on 23 November 1820 at age 42.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was styled as Viscount Kirkwall between 1791 and 1820.¹ He was educated at Corpus Christi College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Heytesbury between 1802 and 1806.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) in 1804.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Denbigh Borough between 1812 and 1818.¹

     Hon. Anna Maria de Blaquiere was the daughter of John Blaquiere, 1st Baron de Blaquiere of Ardkill and Eleanor Dobson.¹ She married John Hamilton FitzMaurice, Viscount Kirkwall, son of Hon. Thomas FitzMaurice and Mary O’Brien, Countess of Orkney, on 11 August 1802.² She died on 31 January 1843.²
     Her married name became FitzMaurice.

     John Blaquiere, 1st Baron de Blaquiere of Ardkill was born on 15 May 1732.² He was the son of Jean de Blaquiere and Marie Elizabeth de Varennes.² He married Eleanor Dobson, daughter of Robert Dobson and Maria Tomkins, on 30 November 1775 at Mary Street, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.^3,4 He died on 27 August 1812 at age 80 at Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland^G.⁵
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 17th Dragoons.² He was Secretary of Legation between 1771 and 1772 at Paris, France^G.² He was Chief Secretary to the Viceroy of Ireland, Earl Harcourt between 1772 and 1777.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] on 30 November 1772.² He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Law (LL.D.) by Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, in 1773.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Old Leighlin [Ireland] between 1773 and 1783.² He was appointed Knight, Order of the Bath (K.B.) on 3 August 1774.² He held the office of Alnager and Collector of the Subsidies of Alnage [Ireland] between 16 August 1775 and 1797.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Carlingford [Ireland] between 1783 and 1790.² He was created 1st Baronet Blaquiere [Ireland] on 16 July 1784.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Charleville [Ireland] between 1790 and 1797.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newtonards [Ireland] between 1798 and 1800.² He was created 1st Baron de Blaquiere of Ardkill, co. Londonderry [Ireland] on 30 July 1800, for his support of the union of Ireland.³ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Rye between 1801 and 1802.⁵ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Tory) for Downton between 1803 and 1806.⁵ He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.) on 13 January 1803.⁵ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) on 13 January 1803.⁵ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.⁶
     

     Thomas John Hamilton FitzMaurice, 5th Earl of Orkney was born on 8 August 1803.² He was the son of John Hamilton FitzMaurice, Viscount Kirkwall and Hon. Anna Maria de Blaquiere.² He married Hon. Charlotte Isabella Irby, daughter of George Irby, 3rd Baron Boston and Rachel Ives Drake, on 14 March 1826.¹ He died on 16 May 1877 at age 73.²
     He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Orkney [S., 1696] on 30 December 1831.² He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Kirkwall [S., 1696] on 30 December 1831.² He succeeded as the 5th Baron Dechmont [S., 1696] on 30 December 1831.² He was appointed Representative Peer [Scotland] between 1833 and 1874.²

     Hon. Charlotte Isabella Irby was the daughter of George Irby, 3rd Baron Boston and Rachel Ives Drake.¹ She married Thomas John Hamilton FitzMaurice, 5th Earl of Orkney, son of John Hamilton FitzMaurice, Viscount Kirkwall and Hon. Anna Maria de Blaquiere, on 14 March 1826.¹ She died on 7 September 1883.¹
     Her married name became FitzMaurice. After her marriage, Hon. Charlotte Isabella Irby was styled as Countess of Orkney on 30 December 1831.

     George Irby, 3rd Baron Boston was born on 27 December 1777 at Grosvenor Street, Mayfair, London, England^G.¹ He was the son of Frederick Irby, 2nd Baron Boston and Christian Methuen.¹ He was baptised on 28 January 1778 with King George III of Great Britain and Ireland as his sponsor.¹ He married Rachel Ives Drake, daughter of Rt. Hon. Dr. William Drake and Rachel Elizabeth Ives, on 17 October 1801 at Catton, Norfolk, England^G.² He died on 12 March 1856 at age 78 at Hedsor Lodge, Buckinghamshire, England^G.² His will was proven (by probate) in May 1856.²
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Boston, of Boston, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1761] on 23 March 1825.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Irby, of Whapload and Boston, co. Lincoln [G.B., 1704] on 23 March 1825.¹ He graduated with a Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.)³

     Rachel Ives Drake was born before 1786. She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Dr. William Drake and Rachel Elizabeth Ives.¹ She married George Irby, 3rd Baron Boston, son of Frederick Irby, 2nd Baron Boston and Christian Methuen, on 17 October 1801 at Catton, Norfolk, England^G.¹ She died on 6 September 1830 at Park Crescent, Marylebone, London, England^G.¹
     Her married name became Irby. After her marriage, Rachel Ives Drake was styled as Baroness Boston on 23 March 1825.

     Rt. Hon. Dr. William Drake was the son of Rt. Hon. Dr. William Drake and Elizabeth Raworth.² He married, secondly, Rachel Elizabeth Ives, daughter of Jeremiah Ives.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Hussey in 1778.² He died in 1795.²
     He lived at Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Agmondesham in 1746.²
