     Georgette Susan Gregorie was born in 1799 at Dunkirk, France^G.² She was the daughter of George Theodore Gregorie and Susan Christian.² She married Samuel Christian, son of Joseph Christian and Margaret Wattleworth, on 28 July 1818 in a Dunkirk, France marriage.² She died in 1879 at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.²
     From 28 July 1818, her married name became Christian.³

     George Christian was born in 1825 at Malta^G.² He was the son of Samuel Christian and Georgette Susan Gregorie.¹ He married Sarah Mary Bainbrigge, daughter of General Sir Philip Bainbrigge and Sarah Mary Fletcher, in 1855.¹ He died in 1903.¹
     In 1851 he was sent to Ceylon by Bates & Baring and returned to England 15 years later a rich man.²

     Susan Christian was born in 1820 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands^G.² She was the daughter of Samuel Christian and Georgette Susan Gregorie.³ She married Captain Frederick Holland, son of Swinton Colthurst Holland and Anna Willetts, in 1842.¹ She died in 1844, without issue.¹
     From 1842, her married name became Holland.¹

     Alfred Christian was born in 1820 at Amsterdam, The Netherlands^G.² He was the son of Samuel Christian and Georgette Susan Gregorie.³ He married Frances Emily Hall, daughter of Captain Basil Hall and Margaret Hunter, on 5 May 1855.¹ He died in 1887.³
     He was a banker at Malta^G.² He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)² He lived at Malta^G.³ He also had twin sons who died in infancy.⁴

     Anna Christian was born in 1823 at Malta^G.² She was the daughter of Samuel Christian and Georgette Susan Gregorie.¹ She married George Bouchier Ward in 1856.² She died in October 1900.²
     From 1856, her married name became Ward.²

     Maria Frances Christian was born in 1824 at Malta^G.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Christian and Georgette Susan Gregorie.² She married, firstly, Robert Hunter circa 1844 in a Malta marriage.¹ She married, secondly, Edward Holland, son of Swinton Colthurst Holland and Anna Willetts, circa 1849.¹ She died in 1893 at Kemerton Hall, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ She was also reported to have died in 1898.²
     From circa 1844, her married name became Hunter.¹ From circa 1849, her married name became Holland.¹

     Admiral Henry Christian was born in 1828 at Malta^G.^1,2 He was the son of Samuel Christian and Georgette Susan Gregorie.¹ He married Emily Margaret Moore, daughter of James Moore and Mary Statter, in 1865.^1,2 He died on 10 June 1916 at Heighthorne, the Park, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England^G.^3,2
     He was commissioned in 1841 with the rank of Midshipman, in the service of the Royal Navy on board H.M.S. Italia, on the China Station.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1849, on H.M.S. Wolverine.⁴ He was captain of the H.M.S. Bloodhound in 1852.⁴ He was captain of the H.M.S. Rifleman in February 1857.⁴ He was captain of the H.M.S. Euryalis, with the future Duke of Edinburgh circa 1859.⁴ He subsequently commanded the Royal Yacht for a considerable period, but the dates are unknown.⁴ He gained the rank of Post Captain in 1863.⁴
     In May 1864 four young Post-Captains, lead by Captain, later Admiral, Augustus Charles Hobart-Hampden, with Henry as second in command, chartereda 400 ton steamer to run the American blockade of Nassau. After enjoying considerable success for a while, they were finally captured by the Americans and returned to England around the end of the same year. This story is dealt with at length in Admiral Hobart-Hampden’s memoirs, “Leaves From My Life” (Longmans Green & Co, 1886.)⁴ He retired from the military circa 1865.² He held the office of Chief Constable of Gloucestershire between July 1865 and 1 April 1910, a position that he filled with distinction.⁴ He gained the rank of Rear Admiral on 31 December 1878.⁴ He gained the rank of Vice Admiral on 30 October 1884.⁴ He gained the rank of Admiral.⁴ He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)⁴

     Jane Christian was born in 1834 at Malta^G.² She was the daughter of Samuel Christian and Georgette Susan Gregorie.¹ She died in 1855, unmarried.³

     Paul Rodbard Hobhouse was born on 3 January 1927 at Wincanton, Dorset, England^G.^2,3 He was the son of Sir Arthur Lawrence Hobhouse and Konradin Huth Jackson.^1,3 He married, firstly, Penelope Chichester-Clark, daughter of Captain James Lenox-Conyngham Chichester-Clark and Marion Caroline Dehra Chichester, on 17 May 1952 at Mendip, Somerset, England^G.^4,3 He and Penelope Chichester-Clark were divorced in 1983.¹ He married, secondly, Alison J. Chapel in July 1985 at Mendip, Somerset, England^G.^4,3 He died in 1994.¹ He was also reported to have died in 1993.³
     He lived in 1976 at Shatwell Farm, Yarlington, Somerset, England^G.⁵

     William Christian was born on 11 July 1838 at Malta^G.² He was the son of Samuel Christian and Georgette Susan Gregorie.¹ He married Alice Tod, daughter of James Tod.² He died on 28 December 1910 at age 72 at Antibes, France^G, without issue.²
