Jane Roberts was the daughter of Sir Walter Roberts, 6th Bt.1 She married George Beauclerk, 3rd Duke of Saint Albans, son of Charles Beauclerk, 2nd Duke of Saint Albans and Lucy Werden, on 23 December 1752 at London, EnglandG.1 She died on 16 December 1778.1
After her marriage, Jane Roberts was styled as Duchess of Saint Albans on 23 December 1752. From 23 December 1752, her married name became Beauclerk.
Lady Catherine Ponsonby1

Lady Catherine Ponsonby was born on 14 October 1742. She was the daughter of William Ponsonby, 2nd Earl of Bessborough and Lady Caroline Cavendish. She married Aubrey Beauclerk, 5th Duke of Saint Albans, son of Admiral Vere Beauclerk, 1st Baron Vere of Hanworth and Mary Chambers, on 4 May 1763 at London, EnglandG.1 She died on 4 September 1789 at age 46.1
Her married name became Beauclerk. After her marriage, Lady Catherine Ponsonby was styled as Baroness Vere of Hanworth on 21 October 1781. After her marriage, Lady Catherine Ponsonby was styled as Duchess of Saint Albans on 10 February 1787.

William Beauclerk, 8th Duke of Saint Albans was born on 18 December 1766.1 He was the son of Aubrey Beauclerk, 5th Duke of Saint Albans and Lady Catherine Ponsonby.1 He married, firstly, Charlotte Thelwell, daughter of Reverend Robert Carter Thelwell and Charlotte Nelthorpe, on 20 July 1791.1 He married, secondly, Maria Janetta Nelthorpe, daughter of John Nelthorpe and Mary Cracroft, on 4 March 1799 at Little Grimsby, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 He died on 17 July 1825 at age 58 at London, EnglandG.1
He gained the rank of Midshipman in 1782 in the Royal Navy.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1788.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Denbighshire in 1803.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Lincolnshire in 1808.1 He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Burford, co.
