     Lady Caroline Margaret Montagu Douglas Scott was born on 7 November 1927.¹ She was the daughter of Walter John Montagu Douglas Scott, 8th Duke of Buccleuch and Vreda Esther Mary Lascelles.¹ She married Ian Hedworth John Little Gilmour, Baron Gilmour of Craigmillar, son of Lt.-Col. Sir John Little Gilmour of Craigmillar, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Victoria Laura Cadogan, on 10 July 1951.¹ She died on 17 October 2004 at age 76, after a long illness.²
     Her married name became Gilmour. She lived in 2003 at The Ferry House, Old Isleworth, London, England^G.¹

     Hon. Richard Camden Bingham was born on 2 May 1801.¹ He was the son of Richard Bingham, 2nd Earl of Lucan and Lady Elizabeth Belasyse.¹ He married Maria Thomas, daughter of Charles Thomas, on 11 December 1848.¹ He died on 23 January 1872 at age 70, without issue.¹
     He was Secretary of the Legation to Munich, Turin, Lisbon and Naples.¹ He was Chargé d’Affaires to Venezuela between 1852 and 1858.¹

     Lord George Francis John Montagu Douglas Scott was born on 8 July 1911.¹ He was the son of John Charles Montagu Douglas Scott, 7th Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Margaret Alice Bridgeman.¹ He married Mary Winona Mannin Bishop, daughter of Lt.-Col. Harry Oswald Bishop, on 16 December 1938.¹ He died on 8 June 1999 at age 87.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He fought in the Second World War in 1939, in Europe, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 10th Hussars and 23rd Hussars.¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Northamptonshire Yeomanry.¹

     Lady Margaret Ida Montagu Douglas Scott was born on 13 November 1893.¹ She was the daughter of John Charles Montagu Douglas Scott, 7th Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Margaret Alice Bridgeman.¹ She married Admiral Sir Geoffrey Alan Brooke Hawkins, son of Captain Herbert Reginald Montgomery Hawkins and Hilda Nugent Bankes, on 16 February 1926.¹ She died on 17 December 1976 at age 83.¹
     Her married name became Hawkins.

     Lady Sybil Anne Montagu Douglas Scott was born on 14 July 1899.¹ She was the daughter of John Charles Montagu Douglas Scott, 7th Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Margaret Alice Bridgeman.¹ She married Charles Bathurst Hele Phipps, son of Charles Nicholas Paul Phipps and Clare Emily Hervey-Bathurst, on 14 May 1919.¹ She died on 1 November 1990 at age 91.²
     Her married name became Phipps.

     Lady Mary Theresa Montagu Douglas Scott was born on 4 March 1904.¹ She was the daughter of John Charles Montagu Douglas Scott, 7th Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Margaret Alice Bridgeman.¹ She married David George Brownlow Cecil, 6th Marquess of Exeter, son of William Thomas Brownlow Cecil, 5th Marquess of Exeter and Hon. Myra Rowena Sibell Orde-Powlett, on 10 January 1929.¹ She and David George Brownlow Cecil, 6th Marquess of Exeter were divorced in 1946.¹ She died on 1 June 1984 at age 80.^1,2
     She was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)¹ Her married name became Cecil.

     Lady Angela Christine Rose Montagu Douglas Scott was born on 26 December 1906.¹ She was the daughter of John Charles Montagu Douglas Scott, 7th Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Margaret Alice Bridgeman.¹ She married Vice-Admiral Sir Peter Dawnay, son of Major Hon. Hugh Dawnay and Lady Susan de la Poer Beresford, on 28 April 1936.¹ She died on 28 September 2000 at age 93.¹
     Her married name became Dawnay.

     Lady Rachel Douglas-Home was born on 10 April 1910.² She was the daughter of Charles Cospatrick Archibald Douglas-Home, 13th Earl of Home and Lady Lillian Lambton.^1,2 She married Lt.-Col.
