Hugh Dawnay and Lady Susan de la Poer Beresford, on 14 October 1926.¹ She died in 1991.²
     Her married name became Dawnay.

     Peter Dawnay was born on 17 December 1932.¹ He is the son of Maj.-Gen. Sir David Dawnay and Lady Katharine Nora de la Poer Beresford.¹ He married Caroline Mary Tindal, daughter of G/Capt. Nicolas Henry Joseph Tindal and Winifred Mary Cooper, in 1980.¹

     Blanche Dawnay was born on 1 February 1928.¹ She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir David Dawnay and Lady Katharine Nora de la Poer Beresford.¹ She died on 22 August 1953 at age 25 at Copenhagen, Denmark^G, killed in a motor accident.¹

     unnamed Dawnay was born on 6 April 1940. He was the son of Vice-Admiral Sir Peter Dawnay and Lady Angela Christine Rose Montagu Douglas Scott. He died on 6 April 1940.

     Lt.-Col. Ronald Dawnay was born on 2 February 1908.² He was the son of Major Hon. Hugh Dawnay and Lady Susan de la Poer Beresford.² He married, firstly, Lady Elizabeth Katherine Grey, daughter of Charles Robert Grey, 5th Earl Grey and Lady Mabel Laura Georgiana Palmer, on 26 July 1932.¹ He married, secondly, Sibell Margaret Norman, daughter of Ronald Collet Norman and Lady Florence Sibell Bridgeman, on 23 June 1949.² He died on 10 July 1990 at age 82 at County Limerick, Ireland.^2,3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.² He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1942, where he was mentioned in despatches and became a POW.²

     Sibell Margaret Norman was born on 2 March 1908.² She was the daughter of Ronald Collet Norman and Lady Florence Sibell Bridgeman.^1,2 She married, firstly, Major Hon. Archibald Edward Cubitt, son of Henry Cubitt, 2nd Baron Ashcombe and Maud Marianne Calvert, on 25 September 1934.¹ She and Major Hon. Archibald Edward Cubitt were divorced in 1949.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Ronald Dawnay, son of Major Hon. Hugh Dawnay and Lady Susan de la Poer Beresford, on 23 June 1949.³ She died on 8 March 2010 at age 102.⁴
     From 25 September 1934, her married name became Cubitt. From 23 June 1949, her married name became Dawnay. She lived in 2003 at The Glen, Ballingary, County Limerick, Ireland^G.³

     Major Hon. Archibald Edward Cubitt was born on 16 January 1901.¹ He was the son of Henry Cubitt, 2nd Baron Ashcombe and Maud Marianne Calvert.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Irene Helen Pratt, daughter of Sir John Charles Pratt, 4th Marquess Camden and Lady Joan Marion Nevill, on 9 November 1926.¹ He and Lady Irene Helen Pratt were divorced in 1933.¹ He married, secondly, Sibell Margaret Norman, daughter of Ronald Collet Norman and Lady Florence Sibell Bridgeman, on 25 September 1934.¹ He and Sibell Margaret Norman were divorced in 1949.¹ He died on 13 February 1972 at age 71.¹
     He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 98th (Surrey and Sussex Yeomanry) Field Brigade, Royal Artillery (Territorial Army.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire.¹
