     Ludovic David Stirling was born on 29 April 1967.¹ He is the son of Archibald Hugh Stirling of Keir and Charmian Rachel Montagu Douglas Scott.²

     Charles Bathurst Hele Phipps was baptised on 29 March 1889 at Dilton Marsh, Wiltshire, England.^2,3 He was the son of Charles Nicholas Paul Phipps and Clare Emily Hervey-Bathurst.⁴ He married Lady Sybil Anne Montagu Douglas Scott, daughter of John Charles Montagu Douglas Scott, 7th Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Margaret Alice Bridgeman, on 14 May 1919.¹ He died on 12 January 1960 at age 70.¹
     He gained the rank of officer in the 1st Life Guards.¹ He lived at Chalcot, Wiltshire, England^G.²

     Charles Nicholas Phipps was born on 26 August 1925 at Chalcot, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He was the son of Charles Bathurst Hele Phipps and Lady Sybil Anne Montagu Douglas Scott.¹ He married, firstly, Jane Goodman at U.S.A.² He married, secondly, Christian Fiona Mackenzie, daughter of Colin Hercules Mackenzie and Evelyn Clodagh Meade, on 3 June 1966 at Kyleakin Church, Isle of Skye, Scotland^G.¹ He died on 6 July 2004 at age 78, in a road accident.¹
     Charles Nicholas Phipps usually went by his middle name of Nicholas.³ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 10th Royal Hussars.¹ He lived at Chalcot, Wiltshire, England^G.¹

     He settled in Ireland in the late 12th century.¹

     Charles Mackenzie Phipps was born on 22 March 1967.¹ He is the son of Charles Nicholas Phipps and Christian Fiona Mackenzie.² He married Polly Theresa Payne, daughter of Sebastian Payne and Rosemary Janet Worth, on 19 July 1997.¹
     He graduated from Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He graduated from City University, New York City, New York, U.S.A.^G, with a Diploma of Law.² He wrote the book Confidentiality, published 1996, with Tolson.¹ He was a practising barrister.¹ He lived in 2003 at 45 Ossington Street, London, England^G.¹

     Alice Christian Phipps was born on 25 March 1969.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Nicholas Phipps and Christian Fiona Mackenzie.²

     Clare Margaret Phipps was born on 1 December 1920. She is the daughter of Charles Bathurst Hele Phipps and Lady Sybil Anne Montagu Douglas Scott.

     Katherine Morgan Chubb is the daughter of Harry W. Chubb.¹ She married Francis Balfour, son of Major Francis Walter Balfour and Jane Amelia Keir, on 22 April 1903.¹
     From 22 April 1903, her married name became Balfour.¹

     Eileen Sybil Phipps was born on 6 May 1922. She is the daughter of Charles Bathurst Hele Phipps and Lady Sybil Anne Montagu Douglas Scott.
