     Francis Keir Balfour was born on 29 April 1905.¹ He was the son of Francis Balfour and Katherine Morgan Chubb.¹ He married Katharine Augusta Dolby, daughter of Major Sir George Alexander Dolby, on 15 December 1932.¹ He died on 3 November 1974 at age 69, without issue.¹

     John William Edward Cecil was born on 1 June 1933.¹ He was the son of David George Brownlow Cecil, 6th Marquess of Exeter and Lady Mary Theresa Montagu Douglas Scott.¹ He died on 6 July 1934 at age 1.¹

     Lady Davina Mary Cecil was born on 29 June 1931.² She was the daughter of David George Brownlow Cecil, 6th Marquess of Exeter and Lady Mary Theresa Montagu Douglas Scott.^1,2 She married Harry John Neville Vane, 11th Baron Barnard of Barnard’s Castle, son of Christopher William Vane, 10th Baron Barnard of Barnard’s Castle and Sylvia Mary Straker, on 8 October 1952.¹ She and Harry John Neville Vane, 11th Baron Barnard of Barnard’s Castle were divorced in 1992.¹ She died on 6 September 2018 at age 87.³
     Her married name became Vane. After her marriage, Lady Davina Mary Cecil was styled as Baroness Barnard of Barnard’s Castle on 19 October 1964. She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.St.J.)² She lived in 2003 at The Yews, Baringham, Richmond, Yorkshire, England^G.²

     Harry John Neville Vane, 11th Baron Barnard of Barnard’s Castle was born on 21 September 1923.¹ He was the son of Christopher William Vane, 10th Baron Barnard of Barnard’s Castle and Sylvia Mary Straker.¹ He married Lady Davina Mary Cecil, daughter of David George Brownlow Cecil, 6th Marquess of Exeter and Lady Mary Theresa Montagu Douglas Scott, on 8 October 1952.¹ He and Lady Davina Mary Cecil were divorced in 1992.¹ He died on 3 April 2016 at age 92.²

     Hon. Sophia Rosalind Vane was born on 24 January 1962.¹ She is the daughter of Harry John Neville Vane, 11th Baron Barnard of Barnard’s Castle and Lady Davina Mary Cecil.¹ She married Simon Benjamin Phillips, son of Peter J. Phillips, in 1986.¹
     She was educated at Coham Hall, Black Torrington, Devon, England^G.¹ She graduated from Westfield College, London University, London, England^G, with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ Her married name became Phillips.
