Sir John William Maxwell Aitken, 2nd Bt. was born on 15 February 1910 at Montreal, Quebec, CanadaG.1 He was the son of Sir William Maxwell Aitken, 1st Baron Beaverbrook and Gladys Henderson Drury.1 He was baptised at Montreal, Quebec, CanadaG.1 He married, firstly, Cynthia Helen Glencairn Monteith, daughter of Colonel Hugh Clencairn Monteith, on 26 August 1939.3 He and Cynthia Helen Glencairn Monteith were divorced in 1944.3 He married, secondly, Ursula Jane Kenyon-Slaney, daughter of Major Robert Orlando Rodolph Kenyon-Slaney and Lady Mary Cecilia Rhodesia Hamilton, on 15 August 1946.3 He and Ursula Jane Kenyon-Slaney were divorced in 1950.3 He married, thirdly, Violet de Trafford, daughter of Sir Humphrey Edmund de Trafford, 4th Bt. and Hon. Cynthia Hilda Evelyn Cadogan, on 1 January 1951.3 He died on 30 April 1985 at age 75.3
