     He was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. He gained the title of Erzherzog von Österreich.³ He gained the title of Principe Leopold di Toscana.³ He was given the name of Leopold Salvator Maria Joseph Ferdinand Franz von Assisi Karl Anton von Padua Johann Baptist Januarius Aloys Gonzaga Rainer Wenzel Galius at birth.³

     Carlos de Borbón, Duque de Madrid was born in 1848. He was the son of Juan de Borbón, Comte de Montizon and Maria Beatrix Erzherzogin von Österreich-Este.² He married, firstly, Marguerite di Borbone, Principessa di Parma, daughter of Carlo III di Borbone, Duca di Parma and Louise Marie Thérèse de Bourbon, on 4 February 1867. He married, secondly, Marie-Bertha Franziska Felicia Johanne de Rohan, daughter of Prince Arthur Carl Benjamin Victor Ludwig de Rohan and Gabriele Gräfin von Waldstein, in 1894 at Prague, Czech Republic^G.² He died in 1909 at Varese, Italy^G. He was buried at Trieste, Italy^G.
     He was a member of the House of Bourbon. He gained the title of Duque de Madrid.¹

     Marguerite di Borbone, Principessa di Parma was born on 1 January 1847 at Lucca, Italy^G. She was the daughter of Carlo III di Borbone, Duca di Parma and Louise Marie Thérèse de Bourbon.² She married Carlos de Borbón, Duque de Madrid, son of Juan de Borbón, Comte de Montizon and Maria Beatrix Erzherzogin von Österreich-Este, on 4 February 1867.
