Wilhelm, Deutscher Kronprinz, Kronprinz von Preußen was born on 6 May 1882 at Marmorpalais, Potsdam, Brandenburg, GermanyG.1 He was the son of Wilhelm II, Deutscher Kaiser, König von Preußen and Auguste Viktoria Prinzessin von Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg. He married Cecilie Auguste Marie Herzogin von Mecklenburg-Schwerin, daughter of Friedrich Franz III Großherzog von Mecklenburg-Schwerin and Anastasiya Mikhailovna Romanov, Grand Duchess of Russia, on 6 June 1905.1 He died on 20 July 1951 at age 69 at Hechingen, Baden-Württemburg, Germany.1
He was given the name of Friedrich Wilhelm Viktor August Ernst at birth. He gained the title of Prinz von Preußen. He gained the title of Wilhelm Deutscher Kronprinz (styled as HI&RH Crown Prince of Germany) in 1888.1 He abdicated as Kronprinz von Deutschalnd and Prinz von Preußen on 1 December 1918.1

He died on 8 December 1942 at age 59 at Potsdam, Brandenburg, GermanyG.1
