     Mary Reynolds was born on 9 February 1716 at Plympton, Devon, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Reverend Samuel Reynolds and Theophilia Potter.1 She married Reverend John Palmer, son of Joseph Palmer and Elizabeth Gayer, on 18 July 1740 at Little Torrington, Devon, EnglandG.1 She died on 27 May 1794 at age 78 at Palmer House, Great Torrington, Devon, EnglandG.1
     She was also known as Molly Palmer.1 From 18 July 1740, her married name became Palmer.1

     Mary O’Brien, Countess of Orkney was born on 4 September 1755.3 She was the daughter of Murrough O’Brien, 1st Marquess of Thomond and Mary O’Brien, Countess of Orkney.3 She married Hon. Thomas FitzMaurice, son of John Petty, 1st Earl of Shelburne and Mary FitzMaurice, on 21 December 1777.1 She died on 30 December 1831 at age 76.3
     Her married name became FitzMaurice. She succeeded as the 4th Baroness Dechmont [S., 1696] on 10 May 1791.3 She succeeded as the 4th Countess of Orkney [S., 1696] on 10 May 1791.3 She succeeded as the 4th Viscountess Kirkwall [S., 1696] on 10 May 1791.3
